United StatesThis was a great place to stay just a 5-10 minute down main thoroughfare from central Oban. Appeared to be brand new or very recently refurbished. Has small refrigerator and excellent bed. We stayed three nights and kept our car parked onsite. Even had juices, waters and snacks included in the price.

Excellent breakfast. The hotel has new owners and they have some great ideas & plans to change the already charming hotel. We will definitely come back to experience the new concept.

Martyrs Bay Rooms is located very close to the Iona Ferry terminal, maybe two minutes walk. Excellent central location - just a 5 minute walk from the Abbey. Our room was spotless clean and quiet. However, the true highlight was the host Sandra herself - a genuinely kind and caring host (not "business" friendly as most are). And the breakfast, which was the best we saw in Scotland - with fresh fruit, the best scones ever and everything I could want.

Just back from a stop over in Oban and the Aspen Lodge Bed and Breakfast where myself and partner stayed was one of the best we have ever had the good fortune to stay. The location was stunning with panoramic views and the quality and attention to details of the facilities, far surpassed many hotels. The owner Carol could not have been more charming, welcoming and attentive to her guests.
Already planning and looking forward to a return visit in October.

Lovely guesthouse in a great location. The surroundings and the gardens were beautiful. We had an excellent night of sleep in a comfortable and very clean room. It was also very quiet at night! The breakfast was delicious as well. I definitely recommend this place.

Spacious, self-contained apartment with a lovely log-burner. Very cosy and comfortable. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch and much appreciated. Great location in the heart of the village yet down a quiet side-street.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rowntree Bank Bed and Breakfast , wish we could have stayed longer!! Such a beautiful location with amazing views over the loch. From the beginning we were given such a warm , friendly welcoming from Paul and Melissa. Breakfast the next morning had a superb selection as well as a perfectly cooked breakfast which set us up for the day.
Would highly recommend Rowantreebank B and B . We will certainly be back when we are next in the area! Thankyou very much Melissa and Paul it was wonderful to meet you both .

Perfect location for exploring Oban and a very charming stay. Very presentable guesthouse with pride put into the appearance. We had a very comfortable quiet nights stay in a lovely room with everything we needed. Only had twin rooms left when booking but we just moved these together so wasn't a problem.
