The property was clean and comfortable. The room was in the loft it was a spacious room with a comfortable bed. The room has a small en-suite bathroom. In the property there was a well equipped clean shared kitchen and a lovely dinning area.

Our room and the shared kitchen were very clean. The check in instructions were clear and the house easy to locate. The bed was very comfortable and the room was cozy with an electric fireplace. We could hear the stream in the backyard running over the rocks.

Beautiful, clean guesthouse , very tastefully decorated. Bed was so comfortable , room very worm . Tea/coffee making facilities with snacks were a nice addition to our stay . Shower / bathroom very clean. We would highly recommend Ronebhal Guesthouse without hesitation.

I liked literally everything about the Brecbennoch. From the top quality bedding, towels and furniture in the rooms, the very well stocked complimentary food and coffee and tea in the rooms to the perfectly clean and well stocked continental breakfast area. The Brecbennoch is the best.

Friendly staff and excellent atmosphere!

Carol... she is amazing! Our stay didn’t feel like a business transaction at a Hotel, more like you’re visiting a friend and it's clear that she cares about your stay at Aspen Lodge. She greeted us upon arrival, showed us around, explained everything that we needed to know about the room and facilities in an unhurried manor. The room - Stalker - was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need including little touches like handmade chocolates. Plenty of tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits which were replenished daily. The coat hanger just inside the main entrance was a lovely piece of artwork! Other touches I appreciated were dressing gowns in the room, plenty of fluffy huge towels (that's a big deal for me), good quality toiletries, comfy bed and pillows. Another big deal is cheap loo roll - no skimping here either! It really feels like Carol wants you to have the very best stay with no cheapness. The internet connection was fast with no issues and we loved the underfloor heating! Carol kindly provides her number for you to contact should you need anything and nothing was too much trouble. She was kind enough to put some plates & cutlery out for us one evening when we asked if it would be possible. The location was perfect for us – about 10 minutes to the centre of Oban by car. I had the cooked breakfast and it was delicious with good quality ingredients used. Plenty of choice is offered for hot & cold options, fresh fruits, toast, fruit juices etc. Finally, that view........... literally, the pictures do not do this justice! It's truly breathtaking and changes all the time. I have at least 15 videos where I couldn’t stop admiring it. The weather wasn't the best for us but it didn't matter. We couldn't take our eyes away from looking outside. It's peaceful and exactly what we needed. We will definitely return one day and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone to book if you’re thinking about it.

The house was spotless and well supplied with toiletries, towels and bed linens. Host Zander was quick to respond to any request we had. The view from our room made it worth the 10-minute walk from the town center. I highly recommend staying.

What a lovely time we had. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but we were welcomed like old friends. The castle is so interesting and they take you for a tour before showing you your room. Breakfast in the morning was a delight. Parties, fruit, juices and your choice of a hot item. The staff were all warm and gracious. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent place. Spotless very welcoming. I stayed an extra two nights and would highly recommend this lovely place. I will definitely be back .

Beautiful room, decorated to the highest standard with everything we needed, bed really comfy. Felt so cosy, wish we had been able to stay the whole week whilst up in Oban. Amazing views of Oban and the coast.Loved sitting on the window seat - so relaxing.Host was amazing , so friendly and welcoming, really helpful and just very lovely . Will most definitely stay here again. Thanks so much.
