The location, very peaceful yet close to the city center (10-15 mins by car) and the owners

The property was beautiful! Open spaces and Giuseppe was very attentive to all of our needs. We were late getting in and he met us and explained everything going forward. The kitchen in our apartment was very nice & clean. The breakfast was such an added plus and all the delicious things to choice from. The eggs and bacon and fresh bread were so good. We looked forward to it every morning. We highly recommend this lovely property and Mocaina is charming and we met the nicest locals who were helpful when we needed to wash our clothes at the local laundry. Giuseppe suggested Spello and Montone for a day trip and it was everything he said and more, and the city of Gubbio was fantastic. Thank you Giuseppe for everything!

The beautiful building and amazing scenery was the perfect backdrop for our holiday. Andrea and Mama were delightful, providing helpful tips on the area and created such delicious food for us. We ate so well for breakfast each morning, it was a highlight! The kids were a fan of the pool and the adorable cats, especially beautiful Stella. And the pasta making class was so fun! We all had such a lovely stay at Casale Rancaglia and would love to visit again

We stayed at Lo Smarrino for three nights, and it honestly felt like a slice of heaven. Nestled in a breathtaking valley and surrounded by pure nature, the peace and beauty of this place are beyond words. At night, we fell asleep to the gentle sounds of owls hooting and deer calling in the distance—an experience that felt completely magical. The owners are some of the kindest, most welcoming people we’ve ever met. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel instantly at home. We were also greeted by their two incredibly friendly dogs, a cat that behaves like a dog (in the best possible way!), and stunning horses—each adding to the charm and character of this special place. It’s also just a short drive to Gubbio, a beautiful town full of history, delicious food, and perfect for day trips. If you’re looking for peace, nature, beauty, and genuine hospitality, we cannot recommend Lo Smarrino enough. It’s a place you’ll never forget and will absolutely want to return to.

The staff is very friendly. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was great (lots of options for breakfast), and the view was incredible.

Wonderful, welcoming and extremely accommodating staff. Amazing views with lovely pool and dining area. Very familiar environment makes it feel like home.

The location was perfect! A great value! Beverly was AWESOME! She was so lovely every morning when she served us breakfast. She gave us lots of great information, very helpful and very friendly! She made our stay perfect!

Centrally located it is walking distance to the breakfast cafeteria, restaurants and shops. The bed was comfortable.

In a stunning location, the farmhouse is charming, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The host Marica is very kind and helpful and a wonderful cook. Gubbio, a very lovely city, is just 20 minutes away. The road to get to the agriturismo is narrow and winding and parts of it have a steep drop on one side, so you will want to be comfortable driving on a mountain road. Rather than driving back after dark, we decided to have dinner there and it was extremely good, as well as very reasonably priced. The Italian sweet breakfast is also tasty, with cakes made for on their own produce. For anyone who wants to be in a beautiful, mountain setting, this is the place to be.

A marvelous place in the center of Gubbio, very spacious and nicely decorated. Good place to work, thanks to the WiFi. Fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee maker (pods were supplied). Everything was there for an Italian breakfast.

Not much to say that we liked.

Everything is perfect at Amadeus Pinolo. I would not hesitate to book it again whenever opportunity occurs. It was a big pleasure to stay there.

Luxury is the correct word! The apartment is outfitted with the best of everything ! It is also spotlessly clean. It is located on a quiet street in the Old Town.The hostess went out of her way to help us. She met us in the parking area, helped us with our luggage and then came by the next day to check on us! She left us everything we needed for a lovely continental breakfast..coffee, juice, yogurt and an entire crostata, plus snacks. If you have mobility issues,the walk from the parking area is at least 5-6 minutes.

Great host, facilities, and location!

The accommodation is located in the middle of the hills with a view of the town of Gubbio. To reach it, there are also quite a few meters of gravel road. Thanks to this seclusion, the place is wonderfully peaceful. The apartment had everything we needed, and a comfortable bed.
