Great location for the Congress and Devonshire Theatres-the reason that we stayed in Eastbourne. Had dinner on the Sunday. Outstanding!

Love our stay! We were lucky to receive a room upgrade with a beautiful beach view. The room was spacious and looked like it had just been renovated. The location was also very convenient, with a bus stop right next to the hotel.

It’s a roomy vintage hotel, and the manager was kind enough to upgrade my room since it was available. They have two sitting rooms in the ground floor, an elevator, a nice dining room where they serve breakfast, including eggs & sausage if you wish. Their dining room is open on weekends, but I missed that, so no review for that. It’s a very short walk to the beach, which is lovely. Plus the sightseeing bus has started to run for the season.

The kindest, most genuine, and helpful staff went above and beyond to retrieve my personal toiletries that were accidentally removed by the cleaning team. We had a wonderful stay—thank you for your amazing hospitality!

Stayed before,always friendly staff,room clean

The property is in an excellent location only a few minutes walk to the railway station and shops. The house was very warm with lots of sunshine coming through both the front and the rear. There is no parking but the station car park has daily rates and is only a three or four minute walk away. I would suggest if coming by train that you do not take a taxi as we were taken on a several minute ride for six pounds before we arrived at the house to which we could have easily walked. There was plenty of hot water and the showers worked well, as well as the appliances, and there is both a washing machine and dryer.

Beautiful old hotel right in the middle of town and on the water. Hotel has had a wonderful upgrade - bright crisp rooms and bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Parking was easy as well, but might be more difficult in the busy season.

Excellent location ten minutes walk from the pier with easy free street parking. Immaculate taste in decor and excellent breakfast. Good shower. Good use of small space in room.
