Cheap hotels in Kailua-Kona

The check in and check out processes were very well communicated by the owners. The owners were also quick to respond to any questions that we had. We loved the location! So close to everything and never had to worry about parking. The apartment had everything we needed plus a lot more including beach equipment, kitchen essentials, and toiletries. The bed was very comfortable too. Excellent rate on a weekly stay for two.

Great location, easy walking to all the areas downtown. The trolley got us where we wanted to go. We were looking forward to a break for relaxation. This was perfect.

The location was everything I could have dreamed of. The facility was beautiful and the locals in the complex were beyond friendly. The pool was a beautiful bonus. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Everything was pretty well clean and nice.

Great location and all the amenities of home. Loved having access to a kitchen and Mychelle was super welcoming and even did our laundry (which was much needed after a week on Oahu first). We had our own bathroom to use and parking was included. It was a great place to set up home base for our stay on the big island.

I really enjoyed my stay here! It was a great location and a close walk to the beach, about 10 mins. It was a very quiet neighborhood. The bed was very comfy and the space was very clean. Indar was a very proactive host and made sure I had a easy check in. Indar also provided clear instructions and always responded in a very timely fashion. I highly recommend staying here!

Very comfortable easy access and convenient.

So much to offer: rocky, black lava rocks sitting area, local fruits, Asian mongooses, Mourning geckos, fully stocked kitchen with some spices, swim gear, mini-ice chest, beach blankets. Few things would make this Kona Maka area a “will-rent and return” is EV charging plug/station (nice to have while we walk around and sleep,) hamper for laundry and sand castle beach toys to borrow. The bathtub or restroom is working well and there’s even old sunscreen and the drain is excellent but older. If this unit can be renovated for a new shower area with HVAC instead of window unit it would be less noisy while we sleep, it would be Excellent. The entrance gate panel is located on the right and we often need the front passenger side (me,) to get out and punch in the code. The closest parking to Building 3 condo 106 is next to the yellow leaves specked with green hedges a d up the path. Booking.com only let me attach 4 pictures. Otherwise, a very well thought out rental close to most attractions and there is no bad view on the Big Island.

The condo was very comfortable. Very quiet room. Nice to have elevator, A/C, washer and dryer, full kitchen well stocked with dishes etc. Like that parking was free and we were in a gated secure space. Being on a ocean front location, you could here the waves crashing. Enjoyed salt water and regular pools. Also had our own private sand beach. Everything was perfect.
