The owners were so helpful and allowed us to check in a few hours earlier than usual check in time. This was a lovely comfortable stay and Bob and Nina have thought of everything from little chocolates and playing cards. I left behind a shirt and it was no problem for them to send it to us. I highly recommend this accommodation

We loved this spacious accommodation. Full size kitchen, dining and lounge area and comfortable beds with lots of room for our family. The hosts were lovely and the house was equipped with everything for a really comfortable, private stay. The location was perfect and we were able to easily explore Mt Tamborine. We appreciated the coffee machine, teas, coffee's and milk. We highly recommend Berghoffen and will return when we come back to this area. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful room in a pristine setting. I wish I knew the name of the lady in reception with short dark hair--so welcoming and accommodating!!! Also Elon (I think that was his name-housekeeping staff from Turkey) was also very helpful and friendly.

Fabulous location surrounded by National Parks offering numerous activities. Vibrant small town with lots of interesting & useful outlets. Surrounding suburbs are so idyllic places to live in amongst the rainforest.

Not too busy area even though just before Christmas period. The Curtis fall is not long for walking (1 Kilometre return from the car park). Not recommended for them who has trouble with walking as there are few steps as well. Lots of bats with shrill noise throughout the walk. Mind the steps as the path is slippery in some areas. Botanical garden is very nice and quiet place for the solo traveler. There are many restaurants and cafes around the area. Lot of artifacts stores like the clock store etc if you just want to walk around the main streets. Not far from Brisbane, a day trip will suffice if not planning to stay overnight if not preplanned for the day to spend. Book the Glow warm tour ahead online if it a part of your to do list. Don't forget to visit the winery for tasting.

Pretty disappointed with the facilities.

Pretty disappointed with the facilities. We will be leaving early. If I had had a closer look on arrival I would have stayed on the coast and let you keep the money. The room was totally uninviting and cold. The bathroom had scum and hairs through it. The bed sheets were filthy. Food and stains on the linen( can only imagine what from. Nothing had been cleaned from previous guests. Shocking. $200 should have provided clean, organised and personalised experience. I don’t live like this. Thanks for making me live like this for a night. Sorry. I won’t be coming back or recommending you to anyone. Quite the opposite. Regards. Michael.

Mike and Jaime have the most beautiful cottage in north Tamborine. We enjoyed every minute, from relaxing with a wine out on the deck overlooking their beautiful property, to meeting their horses and their friendly dog Macey and venturing around the property collecting pine cones and watching the chickens roam nearby. The house is stunning, the beds are so comfy and the kitchen has everything you need. We can’t wait to return. By far the best accomodation we’ve stayed in over all the years we have visited Tamborine.

Location on Curtis road is very central and easy to get around the Mountain. Beautiful deck to relax on and watch the horses and bird life. On the last Sunday of the month there are the local markets which you can walk to easily.

It was a lovely well appointed room with a beautiful outlook. I was there to rest my head after a wedding but have said to my partner we should come back to stay one weekend. Really nice place and Mount Tamborine is beautiful
