The property is beautiful, very clean and has a very big backyard. It is perfect for big families. The outdoor dining to bond and play games as a family was perfect. As a family of 3 we were very comfortable. The beds and amenities are complete and exceeded our expectations. It is only 3 mins drive to the beach and 10mins drive to Cowes main shops. We fully enjoyed our stay including our furry loved ones. I fully recommend the place and will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you Helen 😀

We had a wonderful stay at the Castle. It was clean spacious, and everything was provided by the owner. Outside spa was a bonus. Overall we were very happy . We will definitely recommend this place to others and will come back again. I would like to thank Andre and the family for great and effective communication and quick and easy check in and check out and for making our holiday a pleasant one:)

The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac and a short walk from Smiths Beach which is a patrolled, family friendly beach. The house is well set up with two separate living areas, front and back decks, activities, plenty of books and games and a full range of beach equipment. There are no shops at Smiths Beach but Cowes is only a 10 minute drive away. Will accommodate six adults in queen size beds and four children in bunks.

The main beach is beautiful, with a ramp for all abilities (and dog) access. Dogs are allowed on lead at the beach at specific times. The water and sand are clean. There are rockpools to explore at low tide. Smiths Beach General Store provides for basic provisions during the day. Smiths Beach is a short drive (less than 10 mins) into Cowes and The Nobbies.

The property was very clean and all of the images on the listing are a true representation of this lovely home. The location is amazing too as it’s in walking distance to Smiths Beach, whilst also being a quick drive to all attractions on Phillip Island such as the Penguin Parade, Seal Rock and the Koala Reserve. There are dual-system aircons in both living areas on the two levels which meant that whilst it was cold outside during our stay, it was very easy to keep toasty and warm inside.

The property was great for 12 guests. We all have our own privacy and the house was well set up to have large number of guests staying. The location was a few minute walk from Smiths Beach which was fantastic and the General Store opened up the weekend we stayed so it had coffee and food close by. Only a 10 minute drive into Cowes for shopping and groceries and 10 minute drive to the penguin parade. The bathrooms were clean and check in and check out was easy.

Centrally located for the beach and the racetrack. I have stayed at over a dozen houses at Smiths Beach over decades and this is the cleanest, most modern, with the best facilities of the lot.
