Lovely cottage with lots of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with condiments and other necessities and the chocolates and shortbread was greatly appreciated by our kids. The lounge had air conditioning so we hung out till late there and really enjoyed time with our kids, not having internet and playing the house provided board games.

Talbingo is a great little town to stay in and has some of...

Talbingo is a great little town to stay in and has some of the most picturesque views however there is no place to buy food or drinks (closest is Tumut which is 40 mins away). It also only has one dining option at the Tumut country club which is Chinese cuisine - not great if you have kids who are fussy eaters. With a bit of planning and if you don’t mind cooking, stock up with food in Tumut but stay in Talbingo. Wildlife is in abundance. Overall Talbingo is very relaxing and I will definitely be back as this little town is truly a hidden gem!

It is what you make of it. The vistas are beautiful.

It is what you make of it. The vistas are beautiful. Easy walks around the area. You need to be prepared with food etc as there is minimal available but the club has snack type foods at the time of our visit. The club is very nice.
