What a special stay. The safari tent was super kid friendly and well equipped, and the kids loved wandering the farm and feeding animals. We hope to book this every time we have to drive Melbourne to Sydney!

It deserves the Dark Sky International accreditation. It was wild to see so many stars, even with the sandwhich appearance of the Wolf Moon. Loved the wrap-around glass, the outdoor bath tub, the interior and the amenities.

Tarcutta is a quiet town and the perfect halfway point between Melbourne and Sydney. It is a quintessential Australian country town, full of history and character. We arrived quite late, so there was not much open, but the essentials were all there—a local pub, coffee shop and gift shop. The town has a peaceful atmosphere and offers a lovely glimpse into rural Australia. If you are looking for a convenient stop on the journey between Sydney and Melbourne, Tarcutta is well worth a visit.

The communal kitchen, and in each room the wheelchair accessible bathrooms are really great, also the room has a TV, kettle and coffee/tea, mini-fridge and bedside lamps. The room is great for a couple travelling with a single child (so suit us) like my Aunt, Uncle and cousin and I stayed in the same size room by myself.

There was no air conditioner and the parking was very inadequate. The layout of the facilities was presentable ie; shared kitchen and dining eg; like a pub but larger. The room was comfortable and very clean, with rear access to an outdoor entertainment area. Tarcutta township was very enjoyable, especially the local RSL for dinner, good meals and pleasing prices.

It’s halfway between Melbourne and Sydney.

It’s halfway between Melbourne and Sydney. A small little town with a Servo that sells anti histamine!! Thankfully. An RSL and a couple of cute coffee shops. Just off the Hume Hwy. the motel has a pool. Great for an overnight rest.
