Adrian and Charles were exceptional hosts, they both made sure we were comfortable and accommodated to all our needs. Only 3km's to Daylesford. Lovely ambience, high quality decor with olde world charm. Purezza filtered water was sensational. Only stayed one night, definitely planning on good back for at least 2 nights and experience Dudley's famous breakfast.

The room was comfortable and had everything you could need. Set in a quiet area, so peaceful. Lovely garden area leading to the room. The bathroom was clean although the shower leaked a little next to the bathroom door but great water pressure and a lovely hot shower. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of food to choose from. It was a really wonderful stay.

It's right smack in the center of town. Quaint, lovely bar downstairs with big spacious rooms upstairs. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the beer was great! I especially loved the sours and the chocolate ale. Bar closes at a certain time, but the staff let us stay abit later, keeping the back door open for us to go up to our rooms. Bathrooms were heated and huge, and the showers had good strong water pressure. Good wifi too.

There is plenty to see and do around the Trentham area and no shortage of gourmet places to dine in or get some lovely take away. The local markets are also a delight to try all the regional produce and the wholesalers are so very proud of their areas produce and tell the stories of the current crop. Likewise the local shops are a beautiful mix of art, history and eccentric goods and it is a pleasure to converse with the store owners and hear about the region. So much to offer, it is important you do not try and rush through in just a day or two.

Trentham is gorgeous little town, highly recommend Trentham Hotel for a meal. Shops are cute and coffee from the Trentham General store was great. Check out the golf course and falls and visit local towns Kyneton, Woodend, Daylesford or even up to Castlemaine or Maldon.

Trentham is so nice.

Trentham is so nice. We love that it is smaller and quieter than Daylesford. You have Trentham Falls nearby, the amazing Redbeard bakery where people queue for good sourdough, Pubs including the Cosmopolitan, Trentham and Pig and Whistle. We also love picking up a bag of Dutch cream potatoes from the farmers who leave self serve bags out for you to buy. Coffee at the Trentham General is great ( and breaky). Don't go, keep it to a select few!!!!

Laid back Trentham is close to Daylesford and Woodend, places that are also worth visiting. There are a few historic sights to see in Trentham, including a quirky town memorial clock. The Trentham Hotel has recently reopened, and will add another option for evening dining. My friend and I ate at "Mr Peacock", a wine bar that is open on Tuesday evenings and which offers pizzas and grazing food. Our roast pumpkin pizza was delicious, as was the lemon panna cotta.

Trentham is a lovely old village and a foodie destination with Annie Smithers' Du Fermier and the Red Beard bakery. There are a few lunch options but dinner is hard to come by except for the Cosmopolitan. So much potential!!
