Tuggeranong was close to the people I was visiting.

Tuggeranong was close to the people I was visiting. We were out and about all 5 days and Tuggeranong was within 20 minutes drive from all the places we went to. Good cafes and restaurants close by. The view from our big balcony was very pleasing.

I liked most the security and privacy of the apartment, with the ready access to local town area facilities. The best service from the concierge desk, was the simplest method ever, for booking a taxi to get around the area. There are an absolute plethora of eateries from early morning through to late evenings. For a longer stay, the apartments are within a minutes walk for major grocery shopping and would be very simple to cook and prepare all own meals, if that was preferred.

Quiet accommodation, but very close to shops and great restaurants. Also very close to the lake with nice walking tracks. Huge balcony to enjoy breakfast or dinner with a view. Easy drive to get there.

The most striking thing about Tuggeranong is the shopping...

The most striking thing about Tuggeranong is the shopping centre, it was great to be able to browse the shops. The restaurants were more than plentiful and all those we tried were very good. Canberra is always a delight to drive around, Tuggernaong was just far enough away from the city to enjoy the quiet. However the Summernats did have a few noisy drivers in the area.

I used Tuggeranong as a base to visit various parts of the ACT. It is an easy drive to most attractions. A variety of Cafes, Restaurants & clubs within walking distance of the unit making dining out easy.
