Guaranteed peaceful days and a sound sleep. Friendly peacocks visit daily. The cottage is spacious, airy and comes with everything you might need. A beautiful deck overlooks the creek, perfect for yoga and meditation.
The hosts are absolutely jovial, well-mannered and easy going and will go out of their way to accommodate you.
The value for money is excellent.
As a seasoned traveller, this was by a long shot the best stay in the whole region.
I cannot recommend enough.

FranceWe had such a lovely stay at Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat. Craig and Paul were so warm and welcoming, and honestly nothing was ever too much trouble for them. You can really feel how much care they put into everything.
The rooms were super comfortable and really well set up, and the shared spaces were spotless with lots of thoughtful little touches. The pool area was gorgeous too — perfect for relaxing.
Breakfast was unbelievable… truly amazing, and the real coffee was such a bonus. And the views! Absolutely stunning. It’s such a peaceful, beautiful place to unwind and just take in the surroundings.
We left feeling totally relaxed and refreshed. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

Kitchen was open shelves not much storage, trendy but not always practical. Was supposed to be self contained but there was no laundry, so no washing machine or dryer.
Table, outside and tall with high stools, unsuitable for the elderly or children. They did supply another table on request.
Spaceous. Concrete floors throughout. Tv reception kept dropping out. Lacked comfortable armchair.
Staff lovely. Restaurant too expensive.
Grounds and wildlife lovely.
Location, good but road damaged due to floods, traffic lihghts in operation.

We ate at a lovely pub at Uki with very friendly staff, reasonable priced meals and great atmosphere. There is a quaint petrol bowser on the side of the road! Very small country town. The roads from Murwillumbah out to Uki are a little bumpy with a bit of roadworks going on.

Very pleasant and accessible to the plenty of attractions in...
Very pleasant and accessible to the plenty of attractions in the wider area. Didn’t spend time in Uki itself as it is a small quiet village but went to some of many attractions on the foodie trail!! Husk Distillery in particular and Tweed River House!
We also very much enjoyed the Tweed Gallery and Margaret Olley Gallery along with the views from the lovely lunch place Ajax dining at the Gallery!

Self checkin is easy lockbox and communication letting you know how to find cabin & access code were clear and easy to follow. The location was amazing near township of Uki & close to pub out amongst nature. The size of log cabin is decent and full size kitchen has everything you need. The aircon works well to cool the cabin down to sleep in rainforest humidity. TV was huge and wifi was high speed. Firepit outside just off the verandah and water option in sink for filtration as the water supply onsite is tank water

Remarkable unique views of the Tweed Valley's most iconic landmark: Wollumbin peak (aka Mt Warning) & the three sister peaks. Close to friendly & interesting Uki village. The accommodation is in lovely garden setting as a part of the beauty of expansive forest environment. The "Fun Times" building conjured up thoughts of a forest/ bush temple with 3 bedrooms for max of 5 people. It is a cordial & relaxed stay, attributable to our host and the location that lends itself to some timeless moments!

Amazing home, beautiful views and lovely place to getaway with a nice group of friends ❤️ Beds super comfy, lot’s of bathrooms for privacy. Spend the day looking around cute Uki township and great if you time with the Uki markets.

Lovely location , bedding comfortable, lovely place to relax with friends. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the deck during the day and the fireplace inside at night. Nice drive into Murwillumbah and Uki
