In short I thought the studio was perfect. I literally couldn't fault it. Everything a traveller could want ws there. Lovely and clean. Stepping inside for the first time I thought wow and felt right at home straight away. The owner contacted me on arrival day asking if all was ok which I thought was a wonderful expression of a genuine concern for the well fare of his guest. I rarely do reviews, as I expect a place to be great, as advertised, but this one is above and beyond my expectations and deserves all accolades. The location is wonderful, literally 1-200 metres from the shores of Lake Wendouree. I love walking and had no problems walking into town, it is 2-3 kms from the town centre / train station.

This house was great, the location was brilliant and so close to the lake. Only stayed one night and didnt use the kitchen etc but it met our needs.

We enjoyed Sovereign Hill where we drove, otherwise we walked everywhere which is a great way to see the town. Loved pubs such as Craig's Royal Hotel, The Lake View (very close to accommodation) and the Sporting Globe. Our visitor loved every moment, another great experience for her

Lake Wendouree was amazing.

Lake Wendouree was amazing. My 3 sisters and I did not have enough time to do everything related to and around the lake justice. We were attending an 80th birthday celebration and ran out of time. So much to see and do. Anyone visiting the lake give yourself plenty of time to take it all in and enjoy.

There was nothing to complain about it was a beautiful cottage, good location, quiet street, secure garden for children or pets, accommodation was excellent very comfy beds, nice linen, the equipment all excellent. I will defiantly go back.

The house was super comfty, loved the walk in shower and choice of 2 outdoor areas. Location only 2 blocks away from lake Wendouree, we had brought our bikes down from Melbourne, so perfect location to ride or walk around the lake. We stopped for Breakfast at Common ground, which is a short 20 min walk or 2 min drive down the road. Delicious food and very friendly staff. Our favourite place for dinner is The Forge Pizzera in Ballarat CBD. There is always something on at the Art Gallery of Ballarat, and of you love Opp shopping there are plenty of second hand shops to pick up some unique finds.

Good location easy walk to lake, local restaurants, hospital...

Good location easy walk to lake, local restaurants, hospital for visiting, and short drive to basically anywhere in Ballarat. Even though the house is located on a fairly main road, it was quiet within all its rooms. Street parking is able overnight, though during busy daytime weekday periods it is limited in daytime for two hours from 9am till 5pm, if you're out and about for the day touring Ballarat this will be no problem, evening parking all good on street, local area is fairly safe and most other residence seem to be parking on the street too. There was locked back yard parking (more secure) via a lane way entrance and roller door access if needed. All up the house stay was great, location near lake excellent for easily accessed evening walks, parking was safe, facilities in regard to heating, cooling, kitchen utensils, washing clothes, internet and TV all great.
