Great place, excellent location. Walkable distance to Wulin. The room is cozy, the room service is excellent. The front desk was super helpful in every single way. The breakfast was a buffet style, has a lot of healthy options out there. The room is also super quiet at night. The security guard helped me to load all my suitcases into didi taxi. He was extremely helpful!

The staff here bent over backwards to fulfil my needs. I lost my wallet in Xi'An and thks to Jenny & Alex, they helped communicating to the local police for me. The room was just brilliant! Their indoor pool was super cool! The food at Jin Sha and the staff there was superb! The bath salt in the room smelled soooo good!

A nice place with lots of attractions. Not so many turists like in Shanghai. Xihu lake is a must see attraction. Price in restorans are lower, quality is absolutely same. Nice place to visit with beutiful nature.

Hangzhou is beautiful even in winter when the lotus blossoms are dead so I can only imagine how it is in the Summer or Spring or Autumn when you have blossoms, lotuses and osthmanus in bloom. Westlake is a trip just by itself. Each part of Westlake has a different vibe, there are so many paths, benches for scenic strolls or just people watching. The whole city or at least Westlake feels very serene and peaceful. I walked everywhere and did not even see a fraction of the city. Metro, trains, buses, all were very efficient and cheap, people friendly and helpful. Lots of great food, restaurants, and the strong tea culture is still felt in Hangzhou. One trip is not enough.

Not your usual city that can boast three UNESCO heritage...

Not your usual city that can boast three UNESCO heritage sites. Plus for millennia the Chinese literati and even Emperors have been coming here for rest, respite and inspiration. Besides the Lake there is plenty that Hangzhou has to offer. We often stay too short and just explore the lake side area but there are plenty of other historical areas such as the Liang Zhu site, Wetlands and the Grand Canal. If there’s one place that can showcase the wonders and accomplishments of six millennia of Chinese civilization this is it!

Hangzhou is among the very few large cities in China that are capable of providing tourists with holistic sightseeing opportunities and accommodations. It is one of the few top cities in China which are economically, technologically, culturally, and touristically advanced. Its crown jewel West Lake is naturally integrated with center-city areas, while also conveniently extending to the city's outskirts. Wherever tourists stay in the city, they are close to West Lake within walking distance. The scenic beauty of West Lake and its neighboring Wu Hill is available all the year around with seasonal variations.

Beautiful and well-to-do city. The people seem relaxed and friendly, always ready to help with their own translation apps!. West Lake is lovely and the tea specialists near where I was staying were very knowledgeable.

My favourite City in China used to be Beijing, then I went to Hangzhou. What a wonderful city to explore. So much to see and do. My highlights were Zhu Bingren Museum of Contemporary Art in Hefang Street, the main tourist street. It's amazing bronze and metal work art. Another highlight was the Nansong Deshou Palace site museum. Excellent. The Westlake is beautiful, as are all the lovely parks around it. Easy to walk around and well lit at night. Very safe. The silk museum was also worth the visit. Otherwise, just mingle with the people, try the variety of foods and snacks on offer and enjoy the beautiful Chilled City of Hangzhou.

We really enjoyed our stay at EBO Hotel (Hangzhou West Lake). The location is excellent — just a short walking distance to the beautiful West Lake and very close to a metro station, which made it easy to explore the city. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience. We would gladly stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hangzhou!

The stay here now was even better than the last. The staff let us store our excess luggage so that we could pick it up a month later from then (this stay). We could also order stuff online and get packages delivered to the hotel. They have a robot that delivers food to your room if you order from Mei Tuan! The staff is very friendly, rooms are very clean and quiet. Would absolutely stay there again if I’m ever in Hangzhou again! 10/10!

The hotel was located close to the MRT Exit which made it easy to travel to/from the Hangzhou East Station and to places such as Westlake. The staff were friendly, especially the housekeeping staff (张阿姨） whom made us feel really welcome and at home. The room was cleaned well during our stay.
