United StatesA charming hotel in a picturesque town. The hotel was clean and lovely, with incredible views out over the mountains all the way to the ocean. The bed was very comfortable, and there were extra blankets and a fan in the room. The shower was wonderful, and there was a big bathtub. The town was quiet and not touristy at all when we were there in June. The hotel (like the entire town) is on a hill, but it’s a short walk to the center of town to restaurants and bars.

This is by far the best apartment we have ever stayed in!
This is by far the best apartment we have ever stayed in! The location is stunning, but all the personal touches by the hosts were unbeatable. You can tell they really look after the property you could stay there for a month. Drinks, sweets etc there when you arrive but the apartment has everything you could possibly need. Fully equipped kitchen even has an air fryer, kettle, toaster, cooker, microwave, washing machine and ample cutlery etc. Literally everything you could need. The decor is amazing and even had games for the kids. The garden area is amazing you can chill out and then a few steps and you are in the pool which is fab and so well looked after. The hosts are so attentive and are available if you have any questions. The beds are so comfortable and bathrooms fully equipped. I can't say enough about this property, we have already booked for next year for the only slot available. It's a 15min walk to the seafront with plenty of bars and restaurants and a bit further to the harbour. Perfect location can't wait to go back!!

A lovely host, rightfully proud of his super property.
A lovely host, rightfully proud of his super property. Several good restaurants within easy walking distance and others down in Casares
village which demand an interesting but steep walk back.Outstanding views from the terrace by day and even after dark give visitors endless photo opportunities.

An excellent rental condo with the most beautiful views of...
An excellent rental condo with the most beautiful views of the city and the valley below. The condo is in excellent condition with all the amenities you want. The owner, a very pleasant and kind person, makes breakfast for you in the morning. We had a very nice conversation. My wife and I can warmly recommend this property in Casares.

It’s a little out of the way from things normally I don’t mind a short walk but far too hot in
August with kids in tow to walk in the heat. Luckily we hired a car and went to lots of other local beaches as buses were few and far between. I wouldn’t stay this far away from
A town again in the heat of summer. Would have spent far too much in taxis.

Very pleasant area much quieter than say Estepona but close enough to Estepona to be able to enjoy that beautiful little town.Good choice of nearby restaurants/bars .Adequate food shops close by for self caterers.Lovely uncrowded clean beach.

This is not in Casares, the white hilltown.
This is not in Casares, the white hilltown. This is in Casares Costa, a mile from the beach and close to the Finca Cortesin luxury hotel and golf resort. It is a new property, very clean and the aparment was very roomy. You have to have a car and it is in a residential area with other new apartment/condo developments surounding it.

- This is probably the best place to stay if you want to experience Casares life.
- It's close to the main square, close to a small supermarket, and right next to the historical observation point on top of the hill.
- The view from the balcony is just breathtaking.
- Comfortable mattresses and pillows.

Villa Lomy is beautifully renovated with comfortable rooms and stunning views over Casares pueblo and down to the sea. Breakfast is taken in the dining area or terrace. Jean Claude is a wonderful host and interesting to chat to. If you want a peaceful break in a picturesque location then this is your place.

Casita de Lù is a lovely little house in Casares, a stunning white pueblo in the hills above Estepona. It's a really special place, the views of the mountains sitting on the terrace are spectacular. The house is very well equiped, the bed was comfy and it was very clean. We loved it!
