We stayed in Maspalomas.

We stayed in Maspalomas. It was the beginning of March so it was quiet and most bars were not busy or empty (we avoided the Yumbo centre). Despite poor weather in the Canaries, we had a sunny week. The restaurant area around the beach was busy enough but nothing exceptional by way of food and not particularly cheap either. We found The Red Cow which has the odd nice meal and there is a downstairs area called Shenanigans. It all divides into areas/rooms for different sports (lots of Scandinavians like ice hockey) and we spent most nights in the "pub" part which has a great host who does a mix of electronic and verbal quizzes, Play Your Cards Right and Speedbingo, punctuated by short karaoke spots, therby maximising the audience. Maspalomas is for the fit, with many long flights of steps. We went over to the flatter and more upmarket, prettier Meloneras, to see the Giant Lizards but got a sense the waiters didn't like the British (though we were a minority among Scandinavians, Italians and Germans). There used to be "blue parking" bays, 10 years ago, but I note most have been turned over to free parking. We hired a car at the airport but it's largely a nightmare compared to the other islands.

There is the shopping centres near buy with many shops,...

There is the shopping centres near buy with many shops, caffe and restaurants in St Augustin. The bus stop just opposite to the shopping centre with frequent busses. If you walk towards Maspalomas (10-20 mins), there will be another shopping centre called Tropical were you can find a booth/stand with the different activities and again more shops, eating places, buses...

Great area lots of places to eat, Yumbo centre for people watching & a drink. Everywhere was very clean & everyone welcoming. We went also to Puerto Mogan, lovely village worth the trip, and up into the mountains from Madpolomas to Tejeda very narrow roads.... also recommend the Aquarium at Las Palmas, great day out

Great location, we had a great time, but there are differences between the various villas offered at Par 4 If you like a quiet place but still being close to the buzz of Maspalomas or Playa de Ingles then this place will be perfect for you.

Studio was clean with super comfortable bed , kitchen equipped for small cooking , pool right at the door of studio , bathroom with amazing shower right next the the studio outside. We were practically having the whole pool area and jacuzzi for outsells. We even prolonged our stay to enjoy more this magic place. There is nice restaurant close by you can walk to , opens at 9 am and closing at 10.30 pm .

Lovely mountain village.

Lovely mountain village. Takes time to explore, cafes and bars and small shop, and bakery with traditional Canarian pastries and cakes. Good start point for mountain walks and a stop-off if exploring the mountains by car.

Great property and facilities. Lots of bars and restaurants near. It was around 5-10 mins walk to the beach square, where there are lots of shops and restaurants. Beach beds were 2.50 euros each, so really cheap. As this is an apartment inside a hotel, we could use all the hotels facilities such as the pool, and was easy to get sun loungers everyday. Hotel was helpful with booking us a taxi to the airport as well. Would definitely return!😊

Apartment opened on to a terrace in front of the pool. We had all the facilities of a hotel with the convenience of self catering. The apartment was exceptionally clean and even had a washing machine and air conditioning. Great location with a twice weekly market right outside the hotel.

Lovely little flat , confortable huge bed and also confortable sofa bed. Very dark with the blackout curtains in the morning in the living room which I loved. AC was quiet which was great. Direct access to the pool via the cute terrace. Nice hotel in general.
