To preface this review, my trip to spain was 15 days driving from Barcelona to Sevilla, a total driving distance of 1200 miles. In that time I had the opportunity to stay at 10 different hotels across that area and I can confidently say, this was by far and away my favorite hotel. To start, the location. You're a bit in the middle of nowhere, but on the grounds of this stunning golf course. There's plenty of parking (which is also free) and if for some reason there's something that the hotel doesn't have that you want, in the same complex there's a market that has everything you could need. The hotel looks beautiful with a pool in the middle flanked by casita style rooms with their own outdoor seating areas. Unfortunately I was coming off of a day trip to Gibraltar where I walked up and down the rock and by the time I checked in it was a bit late and I was exhausted, drenched in sweat, and probably severely dehydrated so I didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool or loungers or any of the facilities. Next, I want to make a point to say that the gym setup that this hotel has is the coolest I've ever seen. It's a cargo container that they turned into a portable gym. There are barbells, squat racks, dumbbells, kettlebells, ropes and sandbags and it's all outdoors and looks amazing. Again, I was too tired to take advantage of it, but if you're someone who goes to the gym, this setup is more than enough to get a great workout in (perhaps before playing some golf?) The room I got was huge and clean and superbly comfortable. The design was modern but in a warm and inviting way as opposed to cold and generic. The king sized bed was soft and inviting and the AC worked like a dream, good when it's 84 degrees in October. I also want to give a shout out to the hotel restaurant which had a wonderful menu and was exception as well.

The hotel is very comfortable with incredibly polite and kind owners. The room was simple and straightforward, but had everything I was looking for. The air conditioning, shower and wifi all worked great. Good location and excellent price!

Sleepy town, no shops but a great supermarket.

Sleepy town, no shops but a great supermarket. Great biker bar accross from Hotel Patricia, open most nights. Struggled to get food during the day, Chinese saved us. Maloneys Bar opens at 4, nice spot. Bus schedule a joke, waited 2 hours for a bus that was due. An hour from La Linea, 20 min walk to gibraltar, a whole other review!

I prefer Torreguadiaro to its expensive neighbour Sotogrande. It offers more variety , better prices & more facilities. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets, butcher, bread deliveries, veg deliveries , ice cream shop & more

If someone is looking for a swish, modern Boutique Hotel,...

If someone is looking for a swish, modern Boutique Hotel, they maybe a little disappointed, however as a 2 star hotel it was a very nice stay. The hotel is dated, and would definitely benefit from a little TLC, however, the location was fantastic, the views from the balcony were absolutely wonderful, and the staff were very nice and helpful. Everything was very clean. There are many bars and Restaurants nearby, and the short walk to Sotogrande port was very pleasant. All in all, a very enjoyable stay. I would definitely return.

Lovely hidden away Spanish seaside resort, very close to Sotogrande but without the premium price. Not loads going on but fabulous beach and some great eating places. Will come to life more during summer months

Cheap and easily accessible by car from the main motorway. Free parking available with a gas station next to it. The room appeared newly renovated, was clean and comfortable. It has an AC. The hotel is also within walking distance to the beach and the restaurants of Torreguadiaro.
