What Guests Said About Appleton le Moors:

Staff, location and Cleanliness were 100%.

Staff, location and Cleanliness were 100%.Sinnington was a beautiful village and Nunnington Hall. Dinner at The Moors was very, very good. Appleton is a small village but really very interesting. Many footpaths and bridleways in the area, off the tourist routes and this is what I went for.

just not our kind of B/B too noisy as room was above the bar. breakfast was not up to standard as bacon was over cooked and egg was under cooked. service was very slow . the area was very beautiful and was easy to go to other towns . left early as didn't sleep very well. not used to single beds.

Very quaint and small town where all the locals know and trust each other. We were warmly welcomed into the only pub in the village. The village was very quiet save the sheep or occasional car driving through. Great area to go out walking yourself or with a dog, bring wellies or walking boots for the muddy paths! Not far away from Kirkbymoorside and Pickering if you need some proper shops.

Fantastic location, fabulous food, good bar and nice comfy rooms. Regulars at the Inn seem to forget some people there are on holiday and paying to stay there as they can be rude in their manner. Additionally some of the older staff do seem to give regulars preferential treatment when waiting at the bar or taking food orders. The other staff however are lovely and work very hard.
