We loved it! The first room we stayed in was in the annex and was lovely, then on our return we stayed in a lovely room on the 3rd floor. Lots of steps, but worth the climb. The breakfast was amazing and we also enjoyed getting a drink in the pub, and delicious dinner. The portions were so large they were enough for 2. The staff was friendly and helpful,even providing us a take away breakfast when we needed to leave early. Walking distance to the Aysgarth Falls and a quick drive to Castle Bolton and to Hawes to visit the creamery.

Wonderful, beautiful space looking out over the river. Everything has been provided to make your stay comfortable. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom and kitchen space. Very nice fireplace. There are printed directions for everything in the unit to make your experience smooth. Extremely peaceful and quiet. The owner let us know that she was not going to be there at 10 AM for the normal check-out and offered a later check-out, which was extremely generous. She also provided treats upon arrival, which were wonderful. The place felt like home and we hope next time it is available for multiple days, so we would be able to stay longer. Cozy and comfortable. Walk to the waterfalls.

There isn’t really a lot to Aysgarth itself.

There isn’t really a lot to Aysgarth itself. There are waterfalls that were not really at their best due to the hot and dry weather we’ve had recently. Had a lovely Sunday lunch in the hotel. If you’re happy to be somewhere fairly quiet it is probably a good location to explore the local re.

I would stay here again but insist on ground floor accommodation. It was incredibly hot so the room although lovely was uncomfortable ( we did have a fan ) this was just beyond anyone's control. Restaurant pleasant ...food very nice and staff very helpful

Really great setting just down the road from the Falls.

Really great setting just down the road from the Falls. The lodges were clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. The extras given were great too including dish washer tabs and laundry detergent. There is an onsite shop and restaurant as well as a playground and crazy golf area for the youngsters. We had a dog with us who was made to feel extremely welcome and there was even an agility course for her to use (she was useless!!) The staff were absolutely wonderful Our only complaint was that the allocated parking was under a tree and the birds used the car for target practice!! As this can seriously damage paintwork we moved the car. Fortunately our neighbours only had one car so were happy for us to use their other bay

Aysgarth falls hotel has a lovely restaurant, modern and contemporary feel as well as excellent food. The falls themselves are a delight. Start at the lower falls and walk to the middle. Cafe and toilets handy too.

Aysgarth was a great place to visit with plenty of walks in the area. Very dog friendly with long, medium and short walks available in the area. There are numerous villages in the area and we chose a nice pub called the Kings Arms in Askrigg for lunch. Great food and excellent value.

Aysgarth is in a great part of the Yorkshire Dales National...

Aysgarth is in a great part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. A visit to the Aysgarth Falls is a must, but it's also within easy driving distance to Hawes (Wensleydale Creamery worth a visit), Bolton Castle, nearby Leyburn and if you don't mind a slightly longer drive (approximately an hour), Thorpe Perrow Arboretum and garden centre is absolutely beautiful. There are plentiful local pubs, restaurants and cafes in and around Aysgarth. It's a lovely little treasure in a stunning part of the English countryside.

We stayed in the room at the top with the badger in the gas mask overlooking the bathtub. Absolutely loved it, beautiful decorated house with touch of eccentric and eclectic. Situated in a beautiful part of the Dale's with a short walk to Aysgarth Falls. Bolton Castle is 3.5ish miles away if you don't mind a longer walk. Host was genuinely friendly and welcoming serving up a delicious breakfast with quality ingredients. Would highly recommend 👌

The cottage was an ideal location for walking out to Aysgarth Falls and beyond. It was immaculately clean with everything you need inside it. Considering it is on a working Dairy farm it was very quite and peaceful with lovely views across the fields and down to the village. I would imagine it to be even better during the summer months, well worth booking if your looking for somewhere to stay in the Dale's.

Amazing setting and very helpful staff. Breakfast was brilliant and plentiful. The only (very little!) downside was that we could've done with a bed without a 'foot-board' as my partner is quite tall, but all in all, we would definitely recommend Aysgarth Fall Hotel!

Lovely cottage with all required amenities right next to the river and to Aysgarth falls. We also visited the tea shop next to the road and that was lovely too. Emma was also very quick to reply to messages.
