Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Saddle Room offers both room accommodations and stone-built cottages, next door to The Forbidden Corner within the grounds of Tupgill Park. Free WiFi is available in the cottages, as well as the bed and breakfast rooms. The charming cottages at The Saddle Room feature a living area with a TV and a fully fitted kitchen with a microwave and an oven. The bathrooms include a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. The Twin and Double rooms are located next to The Saddle Room restaurant, which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Booking in advance is recommended. Guests can enjoy exploring the Forbidden Corner’s 4-acres of gardens, which are home to a labyrinth of tunnels, follies, and chambers. ** Pre-booking is essential** In the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, The Saddle Room is just 40 minutes’ drive from Ripon Races and 17 miles from Wensleydale Creamery. Our two onsite restaurants offer something for every occasion. The Saddle Room is our main restaurant, serving seasonal dishes in a relaxed, welcoming setting—perfect for lunch, dinner, or special gatherings. Please note, The Saddle Room is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Just a short stroll away, The White Goose brings a more laid-back dining experience, known for its delicious pizzas and casual atmosphere—ideal for unwinding with great food and drinks. The White Goose is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. For guests staying with us, room-only rates on Monday & Tuesday mornings can not add breakfast onto their bookings

Property info

We are very proud to be awarded 5 Silver Stars by the AA. With so much to do and see in the area why not book a stay in one of the beautiful cottages or Bed and Breakfast units at Tupgill Park. The cottages are on located on a family owned estate, next to The Forbidden Corner and The Saddle Room. There are seven cottages to choose from, all of the cottages are self-catering and feature fully fitted kitchens, a comfortable lounge and stylish bathrooms. Our 9 Bed and Breakfast Units are refurbished to a very high standard. Due to rural location, mobile phone signal is limited but if you need to make a call then please do ask at reception we would be more than happy to let you use ours but we do have superfast broadband. We are very dog friendly here and there is a small charge for your four-legged friend however the maximum occupancy per accommodation is two dogs. West House, Nidderdale, and first-floor bedrooms do not accept dogs.
