Small, lovely, quiet town with the added interest of seeing...
Small, lovely, quiet town with the added interest of seeing the most beautiful racehorses wander through each day.
Good pub (Dante) with warm host and good food.
Excellent restaurant closeby Wensleydale Hiefer.
Good base for touring the dales From Ripon, to Ribblesdale Viaduct, to Richmond.

Sarah and Chris were lovely hosts and the room, breakfast etc was exactly what we were hoping for. We would definitely recommend the priory and the village of Middleham to anyone looking for a cosy short break away.

This spot is a little gem of a find! We enjoyed our stay so much and felt pampered by the staff and facilities the entire time. Such a beautiful surroundings and grounds. We enjoyed our stay very much---would highly recommend!

Only an overnight stay but in a short walk round we found many places of interest and surrounding area is beautiful. We would like to revisit to go round Richard III castle and see the Forbidden Corner.

And got to see lots of race horses
I would highly recommend the Coverbridge Inn that you can walk along the river to probably about 2 miles away. This pub is friendly and a traditional pub with great ales and delicious home cooked food

Picturesque little market village with the added interest of...
Picturesque little market village with the added interest of several race horse stables in the location.
A walk up to the gallops early in the morning to watch the horses train is definitely worthwhile, as is a visit to the medieval castle.

Great location on the edge of Middleham, close to the Gallops and Castle.
Cottage is on different levels as with these converted buildings. Tastefully equipped and decorated throughout.The beds were super comfy. Kitchen was well equipped and nice to have the log burner available. They also supplied a travel cot, which was most helpful.

Absolutely loved our weekend break at the Annexe.
The host Hayley has thought of everything and the accommodation inside and out if beautiful.
10/10 from us and we have booked to go back in June.
Scenic and peaceful location.
Close walking distance to the centre of Middleham.
Loved the castle!

The cottage was clean with modern furniture. The bed was comfy and we found a brilliant place to walk the dogs. It was one of our best breaks so far. The cottage backed onto Middleham Castle and it was so peaceful. Everything you need in kitchen. Excellent shower. Will definitely stay again. Very quiet at night.

Great little historic village. Great to watch the race horses going through the ancient market Square on the way to exercise on the gallops. If you are a race horse fan ideal spot to watch them pass the hotel window whilst having breakfast.
