This property is excellent! Spacious, clean, very well kitted out for everything you need and with nice modern decor. The listing and photos don't actually represent the property as well as it should. All rooms come with bedding and towels. The kitchen has all the attention to detail and items you need for a full self-catering stay, including those niche things you wouldn't bring with you. The owner ought to consider listing more of the available facilities/items. It's location is perfect for getting to local places of interest, e.g. Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog), Big Pit etc. Pen Y Fan is only a 25 minute drive. Well within walking distance of Ebbw Vale town, where there is plenty of shops and places to eat (would recommend Valley's Spice for a great curry). The hosts were very friendly, warm and welcoming. Made for a very pleasant short stay. Update: Looks like the hosts have already updated their photos and listings before I posted my review!

We loved The Bear. It is the quintessential English pub that you’ve been looking for. Log fires going throughout the day, charming cozy furnishings and locals galore enjoying it as well. The village of Crickhowell is wonderful and vibrant with charming shops to explore. There are walks everywhere and the town is surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Amazing beautiful 200 years old house with big gardens on 4 hectare land. The photos on the websites are just as beautiful as the reality. The host, Harry and Nicola have been taking care of the house very well, thinking of every details that the guest need during their stay. On top of all that, the services from the host is really excellent. When we arrived late at night, Nicola served a dinner with 2 glasses of wine for the two of us. It was just a very delicious dinner that we ever had. They dedicated their life to give the best to their guests. This is just the right and amazing place to stay, you will have a mesmerized memory by staying on this property.
