The most enjoyable and perfect cottage that we have ever stayed in. The hosts were wonderful, the premises were pristine, historic and very comfortable, and the food and drinks were spot on. It was in a quiet village and easy to find and access. Everything was perfect and that is a rarity. We had dinner the night before at their sister hotel and restaurant. It was more lively, which was nice and the food was a nice farm to table experience.

I have found space and a little more calm at Bolton Le Sands...

I have found space and a little more calm at Bolton Le Sands as the Morecambe Bay Estuary is a short walk away from the Hotel.You can walk also the other way that leads to the Canal where on this particular visit I came across a magnicent very impreesive Ultra modern Canal boat moored up. I made a quick sketch of some of it and took a photo. A quick chat with the owner made my very brief stay worthwhile. Two evironments close by: The Canal & Morecambe Bay.

Lovely place and the canal at back of pub.

Lovely place and the canal at back of pub. Another pub over the can at back of pub that I would try as well next visit. There is lovely walk over on the other side of the canal. Plus very dog friendly.

Bolton le sands is a quiet village, with a lovely beach for dog walking and stunning walks along the canal. It is the Door way to the lakes so not far to access any of the Lake District attractions and beauty.

The apartment was right in the village It was quiet, very clean and nicely furnished. All the appliances worked and were of good quality. And we were able to adjust the heating. We had a lovely meal at The Royal Hotel just a 5 min walk away and were able to buy groceries from the Coop also just a 5 min walk away.

Didn't have breakfast at hotel so can't comment, but location of the hotel is beautiful. While can't comment on breakfast. The food was delicious at dinner, and given me being type 2 diabetic, they couldn't have been any more accommodating and helpful.
