Beautiful Lodge, very clean and loved the little extras. Very comfy and spacious. Loved the garden and seating area. Excellent for dogs, they loved it. Easy to travel to places. Loved the rural and peacefulness. Highly recommend.

Lovely spot and host. First impressions was it was fabulous for a one night stay. Unfortunately a few matters werent good. 1. The mattress in the bedroom was dreadful and old . Definitely needs to be replaced and gave us bad backs and bad sleep 2. The bedding in the bedroom was awful .both the duvet and the pillows were old and horrible. Both smelled really bad and need replacing . The pillow I had smelt so nasty it made me wretch. I had to leave it on the floor and go out to my car in the rain at 1am to get h myself a travel pillow to sleep on. Both my partner and I had a terrible night's sleep As did .my son who slept on the. Bed/ setee In the living room. It was Very hard and very uncomfortable. So he too had a terrible night's sleep. Other more minor issues were the central heating. We were all very cold in the night but couldn't turñ up the heating as it was locked. Also the smell from the kitchen was nasty. A curry or something has been cooked and maybe the extraction can not used but it left a very unpleasant smell . sorry to give a negative review. I didn't want to do one at all rather than be negative. But booking. Come has asked me 4 times to provide one

If your looking for somewhere to get away from the world this is the right place. Spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. I think I could actually live here. Alpacas are funny to watch also.

Our hosts were wonderful and we had some wonderful conversations. The property was initially built in the 1100's and was truly amazing. The breakfasts were perfect. In addition, they gave us a tour of their Bindery and also showed us some of the art that they created on-site - they are both talented individuals.

Amazing B&B in a beautiful, peaceful location near Carmarthen & Skanda Vale. We had relaxing & very comfortable stay at Glangwili Mansion. Our room was spotless clean spacious, comfortable and great WiFi. Linda & George were most welcoming & friendly on arrival, ensuring that we had all we needed, including a delicious breakfast in the morning.

This was our first visit and stay at Brechfa for a family of...

This was our first visit and stay at Brechfa for a family of five. The host were very helpful and accommodating and specially with answering to our correspondences prior to arrival. The house was specious and very well equipped with all the facilities just as described on the web page. They were very generous to have left us with Tea -coffee -sugar and milk upon arrival. The house was located in a very peaceful and tranquil surrounding with a local village shop and local pub located within five minutes walking distance. From here we visited Skandan Vale by car - found the small country road extremely narrow so be very mindful of this and make sure that you have sufficient fuel in the car, as we did not see any local filling stations in the surroundings.

Absolutely wonderful cottage. Cosy, but also spacious. Everything you could need is available in the cottage to cook, which we really enjoyed. The garden room is beautiful - 360 views. Really remote, peaceful and wonderful dark starry night. Lovely walks like Brechfa Forest are a short 10 minute drive away. We also loved heading down to Llansteffan Beach to walk the coast path and get a coffee.
