Delicious breakfast, cooked to perfection. Jonathon was so lovely. Bed was really comfortable. Hotel was very clean for an old building. All staff very friendly and helpful. pool was spot on, didn't use outdoor one but had a look- very nice.

The moment we step in the property to the moment we leave it’s was like home away from home. People at this facility are so nice. I meet Mr Ludek he was serving my drink in evening very nice person. Breakfast and dinner I meet with entire staff and they all were excellent Mr Tom young man with positive energy. He forgot my English mustard or French mustard to bring on my table. But I still appreciate his energy saying it would have ruin my steak if I would have gave you the mustard. He is awesome. Ms Marylin gave me phone charger to charge my phone. This property not only have good location but crew is making this place on top experience. Can’t wait to be back in Woolacombe. And in addition must stop at the teal farmer market on your way from London to woolacombie.

The Pigsty is an amazing unique space that has everything, we loved it! Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Wendy but she was very responsive on the occasions that I contacted her. Wendy and Martin have great taste in the way they have furnished the place, also it was so well equipped and is in a great location too, thankyou.

Small, very charming hotel. Wonderful room with a lot of space and many lovely details. Clean and comfortable. Great location - no parking at the hotel but easy to find parking nearby.. Very friendly staff. Good food.

A surpringly great hotel in a brilliant location. Croyde beach is amazing for surfing. Also the village - a walkable distance had great places to eat/drink. But the hotel itself had great leisure area/bar.

I've been visiting Croyde for the last 20 years and it has...

I've been visiting Croyde for the last 20 years and it has remained a charming and relaxing small coastal town. The beach is clean and there are plenty of surrounding places for food and drink with a view. I tend to visit the beach twice a day: the morning for a fresh start and then later for a sunset drink. I like to take a trek around the hillside and have breakfast at Baggy's Surf Lodge as the view is great. Everything you would need is within walking distance and it's well connected to nearby Braunton and Barnstable by an hourly bus next to the beach. Croyde seems to attract people of all age ranges, and groups be they family or friends. This was my first time staying at the hotel as it was slightly cheaper than a popular resort closer the beach this time. Would certainly stay there again - but equally will be visiting Croyde again when I can.

Croyde Bay is absolutely beautiful and you can step out of...

Croyde Bay is absolutely beautiful and you can step out of this property and walk without using the car (which is a great bonus, especially in high season). The coastal path walks were breathtaking with great views. Croyde itself is very small and not much to do or see and roads in this area are mainly country roads so would recommend a food delivery. Having said that, would highly recommend The Hub for pizza takeaway and Blue Groove for a lovey atmosphere and great food and service.

We love Croyde, the beach and surrounding countryside are...

We love Croyde, the beach and surrounding countryside are beautiful. The village has a few good places to eat and drink. We like The Thatch and Blue Groove. Also the National Trust tearoom near to Baggy Point car park. Baggy Point is a lovely place and walk to do. We like to swim in the sea but there are plenty of surf schools if you like to surf.

I was looking for acccommodation in the area to visit...

I was looking for acccommodation in the area to visit friends and chose Croyde Bay hotel as it was offering a very reasonable rate and consequently was expecting something very basic. . How wrong I was, it was such a lovely surprise and personally I could not fault anything about my stay. To add to this every member of staff was absolutely delightful and I would fully recommend this resort.

We have visited this beautiful village regularly over the past 35 years or so. There are gorgeous pubs including The Thatch, Billy Budds and The Manor, all of which serve food, lovely beaches and super friendly locals. There are also plenty of places to stay. A few options are Croyde Bay Holiday Resort, Ruda Holiday Park, The Thatch (the breakfast here is outstanding!) and lovely little B&B's around the village. I cannot recommend Croyde enough.
