Loved the close proximity to the Castle. Very easy walking distance. This is a very old building (i.e. 1600’s). There was a lovely little garden in the back and plenty of space to park. The owner is a very knowledgeable and helpful local who gave us dining suggestions and helped us figure out where everything was.

I know this bit of North Yorkshire quite well and was staying to keep contact with family plus celebrate a Birthday. Easby is convenient for shops and facilities around Catterick Garrison. Some shops and restaurants open across the whole of the Easter. There is also a multiplex and three screens in the small cinema in Richmond that is close by car. For those wanting more adventure, Swaledale and Wenslydale are quite close.
