We were given an enormous amount of information regarding...

We were given an enormous amount of information regarding the location and places of interest to visit including pubs, restaurants, cafes etc for food which was really helpful. It was great that the car was able to be parked right outside the cottage and that there was a very pretty garden which would be lovely to use in better weather. I would 100% recommend this property as an excellent place to stay with everything you could possibly want/need. We'll definitely return for longer in the warmer season.

Lovely village location a short walk from the train station. Beautiful house and a gorgeous room. Very clean and comfortable, lots of thoughtful extras like the mini fridge and toiletries in the bathroom. Plently of tea, coffee & fresh milk - the orange juice was very welcome in the morning too. The owners were very friendly and helpful. First class all round. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Gargrave is only a small village but there is a supermarket, garden centre and a few shops and places to eat and drink. It depends what you want from a holiday. If you're looking for "lively" then this is not the place for you. If you're happy with peace and quiet then this is it. Skipton is a lovely town to visit, especially when the market is on. If you have a car, a trip to Boundary Mill at Colne is highly recommended. You can spend a good few hours there browsing around the store. We ate at our hotel every night so cannot recommend anywhere in Gargrave to eat.

Absolutely everything! The location in Gargrave village is fabulous. A very quick walk to the pub, shop, country walks and canal walks. The house itself is just wonderful. Incredibly clean and well appointed. The decor is lovely and it has everything you could need for any length of stay. The welcome basket and treats make you feel very special. The owner is very friendly and super helpful. It’s a huge bonus that we can bring our dog also. And there are even supplies and treats for them too!

Beautiful location. The staff are AMAZING we did not meet one staff member that wasn’t obliging, polite and friendly. They seem very invested in the hotel and look happy to be at work, it makes the atmosphere lovely within the hotel. The spa was wonderful and so relaxing and the lake side walk on a frosty morning was just stunning. Food was fab, breakfast excellent and we had an all round superb stay.

Beautifully decorated spacious cottage, close to all local amenities. Fully equipped with all utensils you'd need to cook and clean as well as teabags/coffee etc. Comfortable beds, heating set on a timer which kept it nice and warm. Spotlessly clean throughout. The gas fire log burner is a lovely addition too. Gargrave itself is quiet but you're only a short drive from Grassington or Skipton.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Really good bathroom with walk in shower and large bath. Plenty of information to help with your stay Gargrave has shops, pubs and restaurants. Well placed to explore this lovely part of the world.
