There is so much to see in the hotel itself. A fantastic building with architectural oddities all over the place. Staff were tremendous and the rooms were very well presented with a nice mix of traditional and modern decor. I'd imagine the garden would be lovely on a sunny evening (which we didnt get..) Breakfast was good and the staff serving it was happy to deal with any requests.

Seldom have I had a nicer host. She and her husband made our stay very enjoyable. they served us an awesome, dinner at their restaurant, even though we arrived late, and engaged in a great conversation afterwards.

i liked everything, we walked into the room and i went wow, it was fantastic, the staff are amazing, friendly, polite, helpful, i went for the night as i wasnt feeling the best, but belive me, you soon forget with these girls, the are amazing. we will deffo be going back as i loved it so much, the eveing meal was fantastic, breakfast was great

Convenient shops nearby ( Tesco, Chinese takeaway, kebab and burger takeaway, barbers. Quiet location, considering pub is in middle of housing estate. Easy accessible roads to and from local attractions.

staff very friendly and helpful food reasonable and well priced (we ate at the hotel) north cornelly is a sort of dormitory village - there's not much there, but there are many interesting sites within easy travel distance

It is very convenient just off the M4, for travelling either...

It is very convenient just off the M4, for travelling either to a ferry or for the South of Wales. The GP Surgery and Pharmacy are very efficient and the inhabitants of North Cornelly are very helpful and welcoming.

A small place but there is a train station close by in Pyle...

A small place but there is a train station close by in Pyle and you can get to Cardiff from there . A short walk takes you to tesco express and just before that there is a little charity shop . You can also walk for about 15 mins to The Angel Pub in maudlam though the housing estate opposite the Motel or you can walk around half a mile down the road to it . About 2 ish miles away is Margam Country Park , which has a castle , childrens play area , little train, few animals and a huge beautiful estate with lakes and trees to walk around . This is only £6,80 per car (not per person) to get in and everything is free ! Porthcawl isn't far and if you get there early and park along the prom you don't have to pay for parking. We went to the mumbles from here and it was about 40 minutes and Barry Island was about 35 minutes .

We had 3 rooms for 2 nights. Touring musicians. Very comfortable rooms. Clean, excellent bedding and facilities. Staff were wonderful. From the welcome check in to the brilliant housekeeping lady who arrived each day asking if we needed a supplies 'top up'. Great bar, lots of choice. Lovely breakfast and obviously a very popular hotel and venue. Plenty of car park space, and felt very secure. We will return next time we're working nearby.

Room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Bed was comfortable with plenty of blankets. Tea & coffee making facilities. Shower was amazing. The shower in my room must have been the most powerful hotel shower I’ve experienced in a long time. Had dinner in the hotel dining room, and had a super chicken curry. Huge portion. They have curry night on Monday’s where we get a complimentary drink with your curry.

Upon our arrival, the booking in was very straight forward and the staff had time for us unlike some other hotels we've stayed at and we will be staying here again in the near future. This hotel have got it right and should be a training hotel for anyone wishing to run a hotel business. Well done.
