What an amazing property. We were greeted with an amazing staff who were not only accommodating but personable. Really liked Kenneth. He made us feel at home. Being a fan of the show the prisoner, it felt otherworldly to be in this setting. Highly, highly recommended. Our room was not ready, so we were moved up to a two bedroom suite that overlooked the courtyard which made our stay so much more enjoyable.

A small village ideal as a base to see the surrounding areas...

A small village ideal as a base to see the surrounding areas. The locals we met in all the areas we visited were very sociable and friendly....Porthmadog, Criccieth, Portmeirion to name just three. There are plenty of place to eat and drink, but you will need a vehicle to visit other areas. We stayed in a pub/hotel called Y Griffin and the food was lovely. we had breakfast there every morning as it was delicious and a fab start to a day of exploration. We were only in the area for four days, but we would go back again in a heartbeat.

Only take-away food establishments in the village plus a convenience store. Oakley Arms approximately 10 minute drive from the village serves excellent value for money meals though they only serve up to 8pm. There are other places to eat in Porthmadog. Ffestiniog railway passes through the village and there is a station though we did not use it. Good touring base for all North West Wales. Main road through the village is very narrow.

Had a good train to check out area... and then a walk across the track to check oit a couple nice properties, one with great character for photos, plus a distant view of portmeirion.. Good cafe friendly ppl

I surprised my husband with a 4 day honeymoon it was just perfect.. our host's at Ferlas bed & breakfast Jane & Rich where absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome... Breakfast was amazing. The house and views are out of this world.. all in all exceptional we cannot wait to visit again on our wedding anniversary next year.. 10 out of 10 Sonja & Ronnie

It was just around the corner from a busy main road so some big lorries went past and could be heard. Pedestrian crossing to get to main street tho so could cross safely. Very central to a lot of attractions,

The beautiful town, Portmeirion is around a 10 minute drive...

The beautiful town, Portmeirion is around a 10 minute drive away from the property, though no dogs are allowed here. Keep this in mind if you have your pooch with you. You'll find a lot of the beaches are dog friendly but do check as this changes summer time. I love North Wales! What a place.. I'd recommend everyone go here at least once.

A great pub with hotel rooms above, all very clean and well presented. Great menu on offer and good selection of drinks. There was some slight confusion on my arrival about type of room booked I.e double but only a single remained but that was absolutely no problem and was easily resolved. Enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep. The staff went out of their way to accomodate my request for safe storage for my bicycle. All the staff were super friendly and were very welcoming. Thank you.

Our two-night stay at Ferlas B&B in North Wales was fantastic. The location is perfect for exploring Porthmadog, Portmeirion, and Snowdonia National Park. Our room was beautiful, with a breathtaking view of Mount Snowdon. Jane, our host, was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The breakfast she prepared was exceptional—better than most hotels and on par with top restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The house itself was beautiful and had so much character. The host was gracious and very friendly, she made us feel right at home. The bedroom was so grand with an even grander bathroom. One of the best breakfasts I've had at a B&B/hotel in a long time

Location was excellent for my trip to Eryri, hotel was perfect, staff friendly and helpful. Also had a meal Saturday evening which was lovely. Definitely stay again if i'm in the area. On site parking was a bonus.
