We loved this cottage, it is very clean and beautifully decorated. You need to park one block away or you can walk up hill from the train station. It’s a great location. Lots of dishes, beautiful view from back garden, comfortable beds. Cozy electric fire. Television with many options. We really enjoyed our stay.

The entire place is newly renovated and everything was clean and tidy. The staff and owner (on site) were friendly and quite helpful. This inn is also a popular neighborhood pub with lots of regulars of all ages. A fun vibe.

A pleasant surprise to find this simple small hotel . Rob and the rest of the staff are so nice, helpful and did their utmost to make our stay so enjoyable. The only regret is that we couldn't stay longer Thank you guys.

Good balance of ancient and modern.

Good balance of ancient and modern. There were some old-looking but very well-maintained buildings, and also some modern-looking tall buildings. Cobbled streets and tarred streets. Lovely modern walkway over a gorge.

Pontypridd park looked stunning!

Pontypridd park looked stunning! We ate lunch one afternoon at the “ Bunch of Grapes “ the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were so friendly and attentive, we would definitely recommend. The Rhondda Heritage park museum, is definitely worth visiting For the history.

The room was perfect for our stay.

The room was perfect for our stay. We were allocated the Abercynon Suite with a four poster to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary they staff were not aware of our Anniversary before check in. My wife has walking difficulties and struggles using stairs so the lift from reception and a very short walk from lift to our room made our stay very comfortable. Nothing to dislike from us.

There's not a lot here, so no tourist tat, which is a big...

There's not a lot here, so no tourist tat, which is a big plus. But the rivers, the park, the history... there are things to see. After two days, I found the amazing indoor market, right next door to the hotel. Who knows what I might have found if I'd stayed longer?

Ponty has a charm about it and it is nice to see a high street with shops that are not all charity shops. The park is lovely, and a lot is going on nearly all the time. There's a market there on Thursdays, and although small, adds to the charm. Some really nice food places to eat catering for all tastes.

Good: friendly staff, freshly cooked breakfast on Monday Poor: Lukewarm buffet breakfast at the weekend, with additional charge for decent coffee. Worn carpet on the stairs. Cracked tiles in ensuite, chipped bath, flooded floor after using the shower as shower screen did not fit against the wall. Despite putting out the sign for room to be cleaned at 09:30 on Sunday, the room hadn't been done by 3 pm when we returned to the hotel. Sunday is not a busy night.

The location was good. We were in South Wales to visit family close by, and we were walking distance to a dog friendly park so the dog could have a good run. The cottage is gorgeous. The photos don't do it justice. It's very cosy and equipped with everything you could wish for. The beds were incredibly comfy, and the bathroom is like what you would find in a fancy hotel. Parking was just round the corner and there's a very good chippy just over the road. We will definitely be back..

Beautiful cottage, very spacious and had everything we needed. Great location, a group of us went for a friend's birthday, we were able to celebrate without disturbing anyone, were even able to dance outside in the rain for a bit.😀 . Took a trip to the 4 waterfalls absolutely amazing in Autumn, now we want to do it in the summer, although we didn't have children with us, the cottage would accommodate children, large play area in the garden where children could play freely.

We had the pleasure of holding our wedding there recently. Staff were amazing.food was superb. Wedding deco fabulous. We had a disco upstairs in the evening.was amazing the DJ and doorman were both awesome.cant fault anything it was the perfect day.ty everyone 😁. We didn't stay in hotel because of honeymoon but saw rooms and they were gorgeous! Several guests said they were the best beds they had ever slept in. Highly recommend 👌

This hotel is immaculate staff so friendly I'm going to book again in a few weeks. I went with my wife and small dog and I cant believe this hotel was actually dog friendly it is the best I have ever stayed in great food great price stunning location

The location of the hotel is just off a main A road between Pontypridd and Porth and it is in walking distance of a lovely park. The friendliness of the staff, everyone I met was very pleasant and helpful. Room was spacious and the bed comfortable
