The entire place is newly renovated and everything was clean and tidy. The staff and owner (on site) were friendly and quite helpful. This inn is also a popular neighborhood pub with lots of regulars of all ages. A fun vibe.

It is not a posh part of Wales but the people are so...

It is not a posh part of Wales but the people are so welcoming and friendly. We used to bring our parents when they were alive and our father was proud of being a Welsh man who came from Porth. He and his family moved to Birmingham when he was young but he never forgot his roots. This is a nostalgic trip for me and my sister and her husband. We love coming and visiting the local towns and going to Trehafod Social Club. I visited the Elim Pentecostal Church on Sunday in Porth and the welcome was wonderful.
