United KingdomWe loved the warm welcome from Michelle and family. Such a well appointed property, beautiful rooms so tastefully designed and ultra clean. There are guest lounges and a lovely outdoor terrace to sit and enjoy a coffee in the sunshine. It is in a great spot by a lovely quiet beach and great walks around the headland with a visit to the Art Gallery with extensive views and a great. Cafe. We had breakfast at the beach bar twice, very good range. It was great being close to Abersoch and surrounding beaches. Thanks for a great stay and see you again!

The area is very beautiful and many other places can be easily reached by bus or train. The town is not worth visiting, it seems very poor and looks a little run down. Also, it would benefit from more good places to eat and coffee shops.

The main reason for our going to Pwllheli was the scenic railway trip along the coast from Shrewsbury, it was lovely. Pwllheli was a good choice,it has a lot of independent shops,everyone is friendly and we enjoyed the walk from the front along the headline towards the harbour.

Like most small towns in the UK it’s dwindling rapidly, charity / barbers empty/closed small shops, been going for 50 years, last visit 5 year’s ago, so sad but no different from elsewhere in the uk. Good big stores lidl, asda, Iceland, b&m, home & bargain. Rip-off parking like most of North wales, don’t bother get your shopping and get the hell out. North wales is beautiful stunning coast and scenery.

The host family are extremely pleasant, likeable and amenable. The view / location of the accommodation is outstanding. The facilities that are provided are of a high standard. This family home is welcoming, quirky and has lots of character. The bed is comfortable and everything is clean and well kept.
The negatives from my perspective are mainly minor, but worth mentioning, as addressing them would help make this a superb place to stay for a single guest... the single room at the front has a little trip down the landing (including down and up steps) which is not made clear in the write-up (usually it is made obvious if a toilet/ bathroom is NOT en-suite). There is not even a sink within the room. The TV screen is small, and although there is a decent range of apps to watch through, some are unavailable and there are no instructions of how to make the TV / apps work. Additionally, there is only one light in the room (bright, central ceiling light), there's no bed-side table or shelving (just a shelf on a difficult-to-reach-round-to, built-in dresser behind the bed), and the curtain / window blind is very thin, meaning that the room is brightly lit early on a summer morning.
Over-all... a lovely place to stay and a wonderful family to stay with, but the expectations for a single traveller could be made clearer when booking, and the experience when staying could be improved with a few relatively minor changes.

Pwllheli itself is not a great place .
Pwllheli itself is not a great place . Small town , few shops but nice beach front for a walk . However surrounding areas are lovely - Criccieth has lovely delis and shops and a nice front by beach . Cafe 46 is a lovely place to eat - beautiful quiche for my Auntie and a lovely gluten free toastie for me ! Also visited Llandudno, shops , cafe , ice-cream and a nice walk across beach front or a train around the Great Orm . You can also follow and find the Alice In Wonderland statues . Went to Aberaeron on way up and Aberystwyth on way home . Always love a visit here . Stay in Morfa Nefyn - found a lovely restaurant/bar for evenings called The Cliff - great food and gluten free options.

Nice wee town. Friendly locals. Plenty of shops and things to do. Loads of nice places to visit only a short drive away. If you want a lazy day just sat reading a book, try Criccieth. Beautiful sea views, and a quaint feel about it.

This is a really spacious, clean and nicely decorated flat, and very quiet, despite being in a central location. It is also handy to have an Asda six minutes walk away if self-catering. Wendy, the owner, is very friendly and communication was excellent - she also provided some very nice goodies!
I stayed here while walking the Llŷn section of the Wales coast path, for which it was an excellent base, as Pwllheli is well served by buses to different parts of the peninsula.

The property is in a lovely location right by the beach, it offers great value for money and is clean and comfortable. While in Pwllheli we travelled and visited Criccieth, LLanbedrog and Barmouth. We had a great breakfast at Buffers cafe and took a walk out to 'The View' where we had a nice drink - both places dog friendly. We also caught the train to Barmouth for the day which was lovely. The hosts were lovely and friendly.

The apartment overlooks a tidal section of the wild life sanctuary with plenty of wading birds to view. It is a short walk from the long sandy beach of pwllheli.
The train station is behind the property and the bus station just across the road, all very convenient.

This was out 5th stay at least. Very central location. Sad reason for this visit. Late check out to allow to dress for a funeral granted instantly. Best accommodation by far in Pwllheli.
