We had a wonderful stay in the caravan. The Connop family were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The caravan itself is beautifully cosy, and we were provided with breakfast provisions for the duration of our stay. A special mention must go to Leo the dog, who was eagerly waiting for us every morning, ready for a game of fetch!

What Guests Said About Sconser:

Angusfield Cabin was our favorite stay in Scotland.

Angusfield Cabin was our favorite stay in Scotland. It felt like a home away from home! The cabin was clean, private, and peaceful. The host is responsive and friendly. Sconser is central to all the sites, which is great for exploring the island!

Sconser is quite small but it is central to most of Skye and the Raasay ferry is on your doorstep (lovely walking at the north of the island and up Dun Can, lots of eagles, Brochel Castle, a distillery). The village is set back on a road parallel to the main road and houses look forward to the sea and Raasay and backwards to the mountain Glamaig (great views both ways). The Sconser Lodge Hotel has a cosy bar with open fireplace. Their restaurant is open to non-residents when they can cope with numbers so nip in and chat about available dates well in advance.

Lovely location, friendly staff nice room with great views.

Lovely location, friendly staff nice room with great views. Restaurant is only serving same bar menu. Food was horrible and very limited choice. Believe hotel is short staffed so expectations need to be managed.
