Our stay at Billwatch Cottage on Portland Bill was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The cottage is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Its location is simply unbeatable, with breathtaking coastal views and easy access to the stunning scenery around Portland Bill. Waking up each morning to the sound of the sea and watching the sunsets from the cottage was a real highlight. The accommodation perfectly balances charm and comfort, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that instantly feels like home. The hosts have clearly put a great deal of thought into every detail, ensuring guests have everything they need for a memorable stay. Whether you're looking for peaceful walks, wildlife spotting, photography opportunities, or simply a place to unwind and recharge, Billwatch Cottage is the perfect choice. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our visit and would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a tranquil coastal retreat in one of the most beautiful locations in Dorset.

The location was amazing! Derrick was a wonderful host. And his granddaughter welcomed us with the most amazing and beautiful cupcakes on arrival. Derrick gave all the best recommendations on what to see, where to eat, and history of the hotel itself.

A bus takes you all the way into Weymouth which was great...

A bus takes you all the way into Weymouth which was great yet there were so many good restaurants within 15 minutes of Portland Bill. It’s quiet, and has lots of trails for people to walk but genuinely if you are after peace and tranquility, it’s a great place to visit.

Lots of amazing scenery, and plenty of walks to take, the Eight Kings pub does really tasty food - we had fish and chips - there are also some shops if you need stuff, the Lobster Pot is also recommended not only for food, but also they have a souvenir shop, and if open the light house is great to climb on a guided tour.
