We, family of three stayed only one night at an absolute bargain price, so I was stunned we got more than decent accomodation, with included classic breakfast. Room looks recently renovated. Very kind and professional staff. Beautiful view.

A pretty and interesting town, with lots to do and see.

A pretty and interesting town, with lots to do and see. The station of course, and a couple of small museums, just a lovely place to have a mooch, and a coffee in the many cafes. Watchet seems to have a great sense of community spirit, and there's always something going on.

Fantastic location, lot's to see and do.

Fantastic location, lot's to see and do. The house was in a perfect location. The only down side to it was the furniture was a little uncomfortable and the bed was too soft apart from that it was lovely.

Great walks and lots of cafes and pubs and fully stocked Co-op! Little harbour was great to sit by with a hot pastie from the Deli! Art exhibition at East Quays was interesting. The Heritage walk gives you some interesting facts and some good costal walks for some lovely sea air. You have a small farm park which is free at and there is a zoo, Castle and grounds and the Steam Train from April! So lots to do. Recommend The local Indian takeaway which was fabulous, good little fish and chip shop and had some great breakfasts at The Corner House, Chives, The Kitchen and The Deli. Great friendly service at the Star Inn Pub. Our adult family with baby and dog loved it. Easy to do lots of things on foot or within a few miles in the car.

Lovely little village on the coast.

Lovely little village on the coast. We visited during December so it was a little quieter but when we arrived they were hosting their Christmas lights so it was very pleasant and all the shops were still open. plenty of pubs to have a drink and many places to eat. there was only one or two places that I saw that didnt allow dogs in, which was fantastic.

Watchet is a charming olde-worlde place to visit, with a great Indian (The Spice Merchant), plenty of unique pubs, a lovely harbour, and the East Quay Gallery just a short walk away. Definitely recommend!

Chose The Georgian House because it was in the centre of Watchet and close enough to friends over Christmas, so location perfect. Sharon and Keith are amazingly hospitable and welcoming. The house is obviously Georgian and retains a lot of character with wonky floors , sash windows etc. Lovely.
