I had an incredible stay at Hopewell Hotel in Hong Kong! The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and had a fresh, modern feel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and even the housekeeping team was not only efficient but also warm and kind. The location was fantastic—one side offered a vibrant city view, while the other showcased beautiful natural scenery. There were also small parks and terrace-like areas nearby, adding a peaceful touch to the surroundings. Plus, getting to the metro was quick and easy, making it super convenient to explore the city. Breakfast was a highlight! The variety of delicious dishes made every morning enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for a perfect stay in Hong Kong!

FAQs about hotels in Hong Kong

Style Amidst the Skyscrapers

One of the world’s busiest and most populated cities, Hong Kong is best-known for its stunning skyline with over 1,200 skyscrapers and its “East meets West” cultural mix. With architecture and interior design influenced by feng shui and modern technology, this city is truly unique.

Hong Kong offers plenty of interesting city and thematic tours, ranging from cuisine-oriented, to architecture or nature. The latter is particularly fascinating as Hong Kong has many amazing mountain landscapes, marine parks and the Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island is only a ferry ride away.

Kowloon is a busy urban center near Victoria Harbor, where ferries are an excellent choice to see just how tall Hong Kong's buildings actually are. Excellent tax-free shopping can be found in high-class malls, boutiques and street markets.

Hong Kongs’ unique cultural fusion is clearly seen, tasted and heard in the local food, like dim sum from Maxim's Palace or hot pot from street vendors complimented local Cantopop music in the background.

Arriving at Hong Kong International Airport you’re only a short trip from the city center. Whether you’re staying in a chic hotel or a budget hostel, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for a holiday in Hong Kong.

Great place to visit, make sure you pick up an Oyster Card at the airport, that doesn't just pay for all transport including ferries, MTR, PLBs, Taxis etc but you can use it to pay in most shops too. Study and find out where you want to go for great food. Don't be fooled by the Instagrmmers though - every bakery is very good, most restaurants have exceptional food; you don't just have to go to the ones they recommend.

Food is good, we were recommended Michelin Guide eateries like Sister Wah for their beef noodles soup and had black sesame ice-cream just next door. There's good dessert shop called Kai Kai, their black sesame n walnut torng soi was excellent. We went all over to look for the famous eateries, good dimsum, roast goose, grilled lamb etc. The TaiChi provided by Cordis was good. Transportation was easily available. Rainy season didn't dampen our passion for good food, though a bit inconvenient as my sister's main aim for this trip was food, food n food only hahaha!

I have been to Hong Kong as a kid but never really explored...

I have been to Hong Kong as a kid but never really explored the city or stayed for that long. Hong Kong reminds me a lot of New York City. It is fast paced, some nice people, some rude people, hot & muggy, very humid in the summer, and great skyline/harbor views. If you’ve never been, I would recommend checking it out & trying the things they’re known for like: dim sum, Chinese baked goods, milk & lemon tea, and cute trinkets! Brace yourself for humidity, crowds of people, & hopefully some fun memories. The MTR (subway) is pretty self explanatory and not too difficult. If you’re not a fan of subways I recommend taking an Uber Taxi. You can request it from your Uber App & they come quick!! I’d recommend visiting Hong Kong and maybe another surrounding country to make the most out of your trip.

My recent visit to Hong Kong was an interesting experience,...

My recent visit to Hong Kong was an interesting experience, albeit affected by wet weather. Unfortunately, the rain limited my enjoyment, especially during my visit to Ngong Ping. I’m looking forward to exploring this beautiful site under sunnier skies on a future trip. I noticed that some shopping prices aren't as attractive as they used to be, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, while I have fond memories of delicious dim sum and desserts from previous visits, I found that some places didn't quite live up to the standards I remembered. On a brighter note, I did observe that people seemed a bit friendlier than in the past, although I still encountered some challenges when seeking help. Overall, my trip was a mix of highs and lows. I appreciate the vibrant culture and look forward to returning to experience all that Hong Kong has to offer in better weather and perhaps with a few more culinary delights.

The hotel is very well located, and good value being on the cheaper end for Hong Kong central. And with that, it's good for the money. A little dated, and could do with maintenance here and there, but was clean, had everything needed, and no deal breakers at all. Ultimately you get what you pay for, and this place is good for the money.

Very nice, modern hotel and in a very good location and everything , including the Wan Chai metro station. The Exhibition Centre, is accessible by foot thanks to the pedestrian bridge less than 15 min walk. The rooms were big by Hong Kong standards. Surely my first choice when coming back to Hong Kong

We stayed at Luxe Manor Hotel, Hong Kong, a great location! About a 600m walk to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR, with plenty of cha chaan teng eateries. Big pharmacies like Matsumoto Kiyoshi and Lung Fung are nearby, and Miraplace 1 & 2 shopping malls are just 2 to 3 minutes away.

It was in the center of Tsim Sha Tsui but honestly the area is pretty run down, I wished we stayed in Central. Cheap but not worth it, I honestly recommend to just spend a little more and stay in a hotel.
