This place is how I would imagine a "traditional" guesthouse to be. Micheál is a gentleman. He was very welcoming and even showed me to my room. The guesthouse is very homely and my room was great. It was spacious, bright, comfortable, and clean. I booked a single room, so I was pleasantly surprised by the double bed. Because of the low price, I didn't have high expectations for this guesthouse but I was completely wrong. The breakfast was also great. I had the fried breakfast, orange juice, and a pot of coffee. I could have also had cereal, and yoghurt if I'd wanted them. The teenage girl who brought my food was very pleasant and chatty. For my Saturday night stay I would have paid more than three times the price for a similar room in Galway city without breakfast. I had a good chat with Micheál before leaving and he gave me some tourist advice. I loved my short stay here.

Location was great. Property was immaculate. Hosts were wonderful. Travelled with my wife and son as a birthday gift for my wife. A welcome basket complete with a birthday cake was waiting for us. We were greeted by Patrick who gave us a briefing on heating etc. and left us to it. We had such a lovely time and couldn't recommend the property and hosts more. Property had everything we needed for our stay.
