CanadaExcellent option for 4 people to stay in one room. Extremely clean and well appointed. Our room have an attached courtyard to sit out in which would have been super cute if the weather and time had allowed. Showers were a great size and clean. Heated towel rack, radiators and hair dryer. Small mini fridge was handy. Restaurant food was ok and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. Best complimentary buffet we came across. Staff were friendly and accommodating and communication was excellent. I had messaged through booking site to reserve for dinner and the response was within minutes! Beds were comfortable and we had a great quiet sleep.

SpainWonderful place! The restaurant, while a bit expensive, served us wonderful food, perfect after a day of exploring. On top of that, 15 min walk behind the hotel allows you to see two glaciers and wonderful views. The best part was definitely chatting with Pedro, an exceptional receptionist and a great guy!

The service was very good.
The service was very good. The reception and dining staff were amazing. Super friendly.
Dinner had good options and was delicious. Breakfast is fairly standard inclusive continental.
Location was 100/10 far more scenic than I expected. Right underneath a mountain and only a 15 min drive from guided tour meeting points and glaciers

Staff was pleasant, breakfast was very good, the room for 3 people was comfortable. Very nice surroundings close the accomodation.
Price was higher than other places we visited on the south of Island.

Hof, like many places in Iceland, is not really a town but a cluster of houses at the base of a mountain; there are no restaurants or services other than the hotel. It is a convenient place to stay when visiting Skaftafell National Park.

Adventure Hotel Hof is a comfortable, clean, modest hotel.
Adventure Hotel Hof is a comfortable, clean, modest hotel. Staff and friendly and helpful, and the meals are good. Adventure Hotel Hof is well suited for the budget conscious traveller. The setting is beautiful, but the town of Hof is very very small. Blink, and you’ll miss it!

The place is an excellent spot for Northern Lights hunting and experienced. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. The wifi is seamless and parking is abundant. Highly recommended and great value for money. very near to Crystal Blue Ice cave tour if your coming from Reykjavik.

Hof seemed to be a small city, perfectly located if you are renting a car to see the area, we came from Vik, and we drove all over the Jökulsárlón and returned on the evening to the hotel. as every village in Iceland, you need to pay attention to the exit, but google map was able to find it and we didn't have any problems. We booked the 2 double room, assuming we needed to share the bathroom, little did we know that the two rooms are part of a cottage and it was like a big 2 bedroom house rather than 2 double room. Breakfast was amazing, and I suppose in aurora season, you can look up and see the northern like, but even if there is no season, waking up to the nature was mind blowing. it was perfect for us, 4 friends who did the ring road in 9 days!

The location of this hotel is excellent as it allows for hiking on the glacier, visit to Diamond Beach and Black Beach at Vik - it made a perfect base for our holiday. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was really lovely - particularly the Icelandic Skyr! We weren't able to get to the hotel before the restaurant closed but we were able to phone in our order and it was ready for a take away which we ate in our room. Shout out to Diego who couldn't have been more helpful - it is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel

The management of this hotel is extremely poor.
The information provided online about the accommodation was completely wrong, and I had to make an international call just to reach their staff.
After around 7 PM, the water supply suddenly stopped without any warning, so there was no water at all — I couldn’t even take a shower. It was unbelievable.
I messaged the property through the platform immediately, but received no response. Even Booking’s customer service didn’t reply!
It was truly awful and unacceptable!

We had one of the cottages with 3 bedrooms. It was the perfect size for our group. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed to cook a few dinners during our stay here (we had picked up groceries in Vik as there were not any grocery stores in this area). There is a hotel with a restaurant up the road as well This was a great location to explore Skaftafell Park and the Glacial Lagoons on our stop around the Ring Road. We stayed for two nights here. The host was quite welcoming and helpful.
