We loved this 3 bedroom apartment. It was spacious and bright. We really appreciated that it had two bathrooms! During our time in NZ this was hard to find. We also loved the location over the shopping plaza. It was not noisy at all and had a small grocery store, a liquor store, a coffee shop and several restaurants. The pizza place was outstanding! We also loved having a washing machine. It did take a while for clothes to dry on the drying rack.

We loved everything about our stay. We were just looking for a place to relax before our flight back home, and this place was truly perfect for resting and recharging after the trip. Hayley added so many unique touches to her house that it made us feel like we were just visiting a friend’s or family member’s home. The barn view was beyond awesome, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

The town is next to the Waikato river so you can walk along...

The town is next to the Waikato river so you can walk along it. They have walking trails also. You can cross the river upstream and visit the huntly power station. There's a lake across the railroad tracks 5 minutes from the town centre where you can picnic or go for a swim.

We like stopping over in Huntly on our way to Auckland. Having stayed here before we knew it would be clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is lovely and quiet - if you like peace and quiet! We do. I particularly like the sayings painted on the walls - food for thought. In our room: "Accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in what will be." Views from the site are amazing.

exceptional stay measured by every metric. great communication by owner. fab room with heating, courtyard, own parking, electric blankets,microwave, fridge etc. very comfortable bed. very quiet. very clean. top notch stay. highly recommend. best hotel we have stayed at in NZ.
