Lovely, comfortable beds and carpeted floors. All the basic necessities provided ie. Towel, shampoo and soap. Other guests there were friendly and nice to spend time with in the communal area which had games and books to use. Very clean and comfortable space to relax in. Very friendly and accommodating staff Denise. Thank you!

The courthouse is right in the town center, it’s kept heritage style and bathroom is renovated to modern style. It has a big lounge with a pool table and lots of games, It’s also used as one bedroom . The kitchen is fully equipped. The owner Cathy is very friendly and generous.

The photos don’t quite do the room justice — it’s actually much more spacious in person. We really enjoyed the peace and greenery. The host was super friendly and even went bush to help us retrieve a lost drone!

Te aroha is a cute town with beautiful historic buildings and so much history. The domain, the walks and the hot pools are a must see. We ate at the office which was really delicious. The countryside around te aroha is so beautiful

Great little country town in a good location, close enough to the both Auckland and Hamilton cities but far away enough for peace and quiet. A town with some great eating options of cafes and restaurants along with local tourism facilities.

It is a shame we don't get to Te Aroha much.

It is a shame we don't get to Te Aroha much. We use to visit when we were children and it has not changed one bit. I'm talking 45 years ago. I find Te Aroha quiet and it is such a pretty town. We don't stay long to enjoy the activities but we did eat at the local Pub/Restaurant just across from our Motel and they do a great Lamb Shank. Apologies, can't remember the Pub. The Te Aroha Motel is the best.

We like to walk so there is something here for us.

We like to walk so there is something here for us. There was something on at Boyd Park wonderful. Our host suggested a walk over to the Wetlands and we did that what a gem. We had dinner at the RSA. OMGoodness you could eat off the floor there so amazing and the staff and food, cannot say enough. WE will be back and may hire bikes next time for the Hauraki Rail Trail.

Quiet town, but located near some great walks that could take 2 days to enjoy. Private spring baths are a must and also well run by the local council. The visitor information is filled with all the rele=ant material to make the stay enjoyable.

Te Aroha, translated, means Love, and that is what you will...

Te Aroha, translated, means Love, and that is what you will find there, especially if your fortunate to visit Sunday service in the Anglican church, and bonus, staying in the Nunne ry, accommodation, mountain trek, is challenging, but worth it, cycle trails , mostly sealed paths easy going, interesting Spa, and museum, good food, many places to eat, river walks, everything you want for a few days passing through.

Everything was lovely, clean, well set out and everything one needed for a nice break away. Te Aroha is small, but the motel location was great, right in front of the famous hot pools. Staff very friendly, no complaints for this accommodation.

We loved the location and close to walks on Mt Te Aroha. Because we stayed for a month more equipment in the kitchen would have been handy eg grater, egg beater. Beautiful views
