Owners were absolutely lovely and gracious, allot of my family booked there as we came down for my nanas 80th, we are a big family and they treated us so well and we're happy to have us all congregated in the court yard of a few hours before we all left for home while we reminisced and said our goodbyes!

Due to lack of available places to stay in Tokoroa we didn’t have high expectations. However, our bed was clean and comfortable and the water in the shower was hot. Didn’t need much else for an overnight stop. The people running it were lovely

Big open shared spaces made it easy to navigate. All of the amenities were new or great condition. The bedroom had all we needed and the shared bathroom spaces were modern and very clean.

My partner and I feel so fortunate to have spent 9 nights in this delightful country home. Our hosts made sure our stay was a lovely experience. The house is super clean, large and comfortable, beautifully decorated with both vintage and modern touches. We really enjoyed the two easy-chairs for example. The whole house (and especially the kitchen) has many large windows offering beautiful views onto the garden and surrounding countryside. It's so peaceful and there are many types of birds, plus bunnies, sheep and cows in the fields nearby giving that lovely farm feel. It's a pleasant drive to Rotorua and Hobbiton and there's a blueberry farm just a 10 minute drive away offering real fruit ice cream. The kitchen is really well equipped. Great location, excellent directions, organized, clean, hospitable host and truly cozy cabins. Everything you could ask for as and as a solo traveling cyclist I was thrilled to recover from a long day there.

Luxury Hideaway at the Lake is a recently renovated vacation home in Mangakino where guests can make the most of the garden and barbecue facilities. A hot tub is available for guests.

Very quiet and private. Comfortable and had everything we needed and wanted. Great central location in a friendly town with awesome locals. Probably the best accommodation we've had in all our travels.
