Lovely place to stay - actually the best place we stayed in the UK over our stay of 3 weeks . Spacious , clean and comfortable. It was quiet and the host was very friendly and kind . We felt very welcome. There was meticulously attention to detail and we only wished we could have stayed longer .

Pleasant little place. Clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Street leading to apartment iis very narrow as is typical of Yorkshire Dales so is not ideal for manoeuvring cars. Milk, coffee, tea and breakfast provisions were unexpectedly provided which was a nice touch.

Romany Cottage B&B is located in Buckden, just 18 miles from Skipton Castle and 19 miles from Bolton Abbey Estate.

Lyn is a great host..ready for a chat if you want one. She gives over her lounge as a guest lounge with a wood fire stoked up and so cosy with a view across the valley. Breakfast is at the kitchen table in her beautiful kitchen. The bathroom is spacious and super modern and the bed and linen are first class . Clara the dog was a fun bonus. Felt like we were with family. The Buck Inn had a great menu and was very friendly.

I can't rate the old chair workshop highly enough - absolutely beautiful find after a long day on the dales way. Excellent facilities, lovely kitchen with everything you could want, well decorated. It was a very cold night (about minus 8) but I was warm and cosy. Thankyou!

We loved everything about the cottage, it was very well equipped and the decor was right up our street - it was like a home from home. The location was so peaceful (great views to wake up to) and we even got lucky with a Northern Lights experience (see photos).

Last Cottage is located in Richmond, just 22 miles from Lightwater Valley Theme Park and a 13-minute walk from Richmond Castle.
