Host was very kind and gave me great recommendations from beaches to food and activities. When we had a question he replied quickly. We felt like we were in a jungle, lots of nature night life sounds but he provided ear plugs and by night 3 we were used to it and enjoyed it that when we went to another part of the island we missed the night sounds! But the house was so beautiful, every room was decorated uniquely & beautifully. They provided a crib and shower essentials, cooking seasonings, even let us borrow a crock pot when I asked if he had one, we were near Capitan cook and Honaunau Bay & Keauhou Bay for site seeing and snorkeling, many coffee farms, had amazing Hawaiian Ninja shave ice near the Choice Mart, and we enjoyed the tropical feel of this area. The home was comfy, very children friendly, the deck & swing set & zip line was a plus for our 6 year old. Would stay here again if we come back to visit! (I ACCIDENTALLY ADDED PHOTOS OF MY DAUGHTER & I NEAR A WATERFALL & CANNOT DELETE THEM. THE LOCATION IS NEAR HILO NOT NEAR CAPITAN COOK.

So near the park. The house was very cosy and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The house felt very zen and peaceful. We really enjoyed staying there.

This is a lovely place to stay, it exceeded our expectations for sure. James is a really warm host and he had everything set up for all his guests, fruits, snacks, bread, eggs, cookware, tableware, laundry, etc. almost felt like home. The place was incredibly clean and cozy. It is close to the Kilua Volcanoes National Park and Rainbow falls.
