Very nice stay! We had a very warm welcome. Everything was great, nice surprise for our honeymoon, decoration in the room was amazing. The dinner excellent, very fresh and tasty food. Nelson was very helpful, he arranged transportation for us. The staff really kind and polite.

Environment & architecture

Our stay at Happy Man Village was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at in Sri Lanka. The dinner, breakfast, hospitality and environment were fantastic. The garden of the hotel is well-maintained and particularly beautiful at night. Furthermore, the rooms are really clean and the outside shower is a big plus! We truly recommend this hotel!

Let’s start with acknowledging the fact Sri Lankan’s climate is challenging for property owners. Combination of enormous humidity and high temperatures creates perfect conditions for mold growth and rust. Our hotel did great here with rooms and toilets being clean, sheets being fresh and pleasant to the touch, large comfortable beds and nice swimming pool. Everything according to the description from the booking.com We took some ayurveda treatments and these proved to be remarkable. The doctor not only served great massage, but also provided recommendations and some magic potion which hopefully cuts some age :-) Skipping ayurveda part would have been a huge mistake! Then food. Breakfasts were the best we had in Sri Lanka. Fresh fruits, omelettes, sousages - all served at the large, pleasant veranda with garden view. We also had dinner and that exceeded our expectations. Definitely best springrols on the island. Juicy, fresh red snapper, not to forget various types of rice and curry. In Bentota one gets excellent clean beaches. it is 500m from the hotel, really easy walk. if really lazy tuk-tuks are everywhere and would cost like nothing. And last but not least. The level of helpfulness of the staff was above the limit. Manager helped us with building our trip across the island, organized bus with the driver for our group and helped with finding and booking hotels on our trip. All the prices he got for us were better than the ones from the app! amazing experience! Having said that- great value for money, perfect to start your Sri Lankan’s adventure.

Close to the beach 5 min walking, parking, staff verry verry nice. Good breakfast . Very good value for money spent.

It has a perfect good view and I enjoyed a lot. And owners are really nice and kind and supportive.

We stayed one night here during our trip to Bentota. The location was perfect—close to Bentota Beach and Kande Viharaya. The place was peaceful and clean, the breakfast was really delicious, and the lady who runs it was very friendly and welcoming. Great stay overall!

They are very detail oriented, everything is super clean and the facilities are beyond amazing!

Clean room and the rest of the space, close to Ventura beach. The property is on the main road, so you have all the convenience of that, and the room is facing the garden, which means the noise is much less on that side. The sister of the owner was in charge when she was not there, and she is very friendly and helpful.

Nice experience to stay in one of the Cabins. Thush is very friendly and i highly recommend to join any tour by motobike with him

I was recommended to stay here after my family visited in December. You really are made to feel welcome. I had a late arrival 3:30am and the young man was awake to let me in with a smile. Communication was fantastic from making the booking through to the period of my stay. Breakfast was plentiful consisting of eggs different each day, fruit, toast, fruit juice and tea/coffee. The room was absolutely spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. It was obvious to see that there was attention to detail with having the room looking nice. There was even a fridge and the air conditioning worked well. The bed was also very comfortable. Very little noise from outside. They even helped me with my next train. Thanks so much, I highly recommend.
