Step back in time - originally built in 1917, this grand dame offers a complete escape whilst being situated metres from the stunning north facing Cowes Beach and only a few minutes walk to the restaurants and shops of Cowes. The 100 year old trees and beautiful gardens are a respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Each room is individually accessed from the outside. Park the car and spend the weekend relaxing with a glass of wine and a great book on the verandah, strolling along the sun drenched beach, or engaging in some retail therapy. A delicious continental breakfast is provided in your suite each day for you to prepare and enjoy at your own leisure.

We have lived on Phillip Island for several decades, providing us with a wealth of local knowledge and insider tips. With a background in health, Simonne enjoys looking after our guests, ensuring that they feel comfortable at all times. Marcus is a PGA Golf Professional, and has an extensive background in customer service. Together we want to ensure that our home is presented to you at an impeccable standard, and that your stay is worry free and safe.

Stretching for miles, Cowes beach is 150 metres from the front gate. Within close proximity (3 street blocks) to the main street of shops and restaurants, Genesta House is a tranquil, quiet setting. Within a 15 minute drive, you can access the Penguin Parade, Koala Conservation Park, Churchill Island, Chocolate Factory, Vietnam Veteran's Museum, PI Helicopters, A'Maze'n'Things, Purple Hen and Phillip Island Wineries, PI Grand Prix track, and many more attractions. Surrounded by beaches, the famous Smiths Beach, Cape Woolamai, Berry's Beach, YCW, Forrest Caves, Kitty Miller Bay& Ventnor Beach are all within 15 minutes drive. There are many nature walks including Rhyll Inlet, Oswin Roberts Reserve, The Nobbies, Churchill Island, Cape Woolamai, Pyramid Rock, Kitty Miller Bay, Swan Lake, Scenic Estate and the famous Punchbowl to Kilcunda walk. Of course, if retail therapy is what you are after, the Cowes main street is an easy walk and has an abundance of fashion, homewares, books, cafes, restaurants, furniture and toy shops.
