Murrumbateman cottage is a spacious two bedroom, two bathroom self-contained cottage. The master bedroom includes an ensuite and walk-in robe. The second bedroom also has a built in wardrobe. Full kitchen and laundry facilitaties are available. Its a great place for a weekend away, a week away from the hustle and bustle of the city, or just a stopover between Sydney and Melbourne. There's room for a caravan or horse float if you need it. Guests receive a welcome breakfast basket on arrival including, local bread, jam, chocolates and fresh eggs. Milk, water, coffee and tea is also provided for guests along with a few other pantry basics.
We love to meet new people and guests from around Australia and overseas. We enjoy chatting with guests and pointing out some of the highlights that Murrumbateman and surounds have to offer. We love art, gardening, farming, sport and of course our animals, including our two dogs. We really enjoy sharing the wonderful lifestyle we have here with our guests.
We are located at the end of the street in quiet community called Merryville Park. It is close to several local wineries and businesses and is a lovely area for walks. We have many restaurants nearby including the newly established Shaw Restaurant. Guests that stay with us and mention they are dining at Shaw Restaurant, receive a voucher for a complimentary bottle of Shaw Estate wine to take home.
