Welcome to our studio apartment at Bwthyn Bach. Designed for active explorers at our main residence where we live with our two dogs. Our clever use of space uses a Murphy bed-this opens to provide a low, comfortable Euro Double, ideal for up to two people! The ensuite provides a spacesaving shower and sink over cistern toilet. We are siaradwyr Cymraeg-Welsh speakers and life-long residents of Llanfairfechan-a village that is nestled in between the mountains and the sea. Located on the boundary of the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park our one room with ensuite offers access on foot to The Pilgrims Way, local walks on the upper lanes of the village, hikes up into the foothills of the Carneddau, as well as access to popular routes in Eryri-accessed by car, or public transport (park and ride available at some locations). We have an outdoor seating area with views of Carreg Fawr, Dinas (a Bronze Age settlement) and the Llanfairfechan/Penmaenmawr granite quarry. a 10 minute walk will get you to the shops, add another 10 to our beachfront, with 2 cafes and a variety of walks and activities. It is popular with swimmers, kayak and canoes, windsurfing and foiling. There are 2 pubs on Mill Road, open from around 4pm for soft and alcoholic drinks and snacks. Parking on site is via a single track, walled lane.

We love hosting our guests and hearing about their experiences of our locality. Fiona is CEO of a local charity and Paul is a Whisky Distiller. We enjoy the outdoors in our spare time with our dogs.

Our guest describe the village as a pretty destination and the studio to be located conveniently for pubs and shops ( just 5 minutes to the nearest pub and 10 to the shops). Takeaway options for fish and chips, chinese and indian food are all located close together on Station Rd. More options are available just 10 minutes drive away in Penmaemawr.
