Vince and I enjoy welcoming people to our home. It's big enough to give all of our guests their space and privacy in very comfortable surroundings. The rooms are modern and tastefully furnished with lovely bed linen provided for your comfort. It's a fantastic base to explore the local attractions including Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Monkey World, Tank museum, all of the Jurassic coast with Weymouth and Dorchester nearby.

Vince and I look forward to welcoming you here at Cottars. We will do our best to make your stay comfortable and a nice treat. We can give you tips on local attractions etc. so feel free to ask away. It's a happy, informal environment but we also take great care to provide the highest standard of cleanliness to help keep us all cosy and safe. Vince makes homemade bread as part of a continental breakfast.

We are close to Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Tank Museum, Monkey World and all of the Jurasic coast. This includes Corfe Castle and Kimmeridge where the new Colossal Pliosaur sea monster skull is on display. The Redlion is a 2 min walk and is a Smokehouse that serves good pub food - mainly meat focused. The Countryman is about 7mins walk with new managers and has a varied menu to suit all palates, The Sailors Return (2miles) has a superb menu but needs to be booked in advance and the Ship in Wool (3miles) is also very good pub food. with an additional specials board to mix things up a bit.
