Dromore Cottage, a single-storey property, consists of a kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, and dining seating for two people, and living/dining room with Smart TV and dining seating for four people. The bedroom is a king-size with an en-suite shower room. There is also separate cloakroom with wc. Outside, there is a garden with patio, lawn space, and furniture. Roadside parking for 1 car available 25 metres from cottage on Pedwell Way against wall. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop, pub, and river in 0.3 miles. The historic village of Norham is most famous for its splendid Norman Castle ruins overlooking the River Tweed, painted by Turner in 1845. The village has an excellent butcher and bakery, a Post Office, grocer, newsagent and two pubs. Also nearby in the village of Allanton is a good restaurant which is great for fishing and shooting parties as well as the Cross Inn at Paxton. Berwick-upon-Tweed is just 7 miles away, at the northern tip of Northumberland’s beautiful Heritage Coast, boasting many restaurants, cafes, pubs and a nearby links golf course. The Scottish capital of Edinburgh or the city of Newcastle are easily accessed by train from Berwick. A superb base for exploring all North Northumberland has to offer.
