ABOUT THE PROPERTY: A fully renovated, light and modern first floor studio apartment in a Grade II listed 16th century building, located at the heart of the beautiful medieval village of Dunster. The 30 m2 self-catering studio apartment is comprised of the main room, a modern toilet/shower room, and a private staircase accessed from a hallway leading onto Dunster’s High Street. The studio flat includes a double bed (approx. 160cm x 210cm, mattress size: approx. 152cm x 200cm) with high-quality 100% cotton bedding, goose down quilts and cushions (non-allergenic option available - please notify us at the time of the booking), a sofa bed (bed space: 176cm x 115cm, sleeps 1 adult or 1-2 children), a small kitchenette (including a fridge, microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle, 2 ring stove, a selection of cutlery, crockery, pans and other utensils, tea towel, cleaning equipment), a dining table with seats for four, a 44 inch flat screen TV with Netflix and free view channels included, a heated towel rail, bath towels, hand towel, floor mat, hand soap, toilet paper, iron, vacuum cleaner, alarm clock and free Wifi. PRICES: 120 GBP for 1-2 guests, when sharing the double bed. 132 GBP for 3 guests sharing the double bed, and the sofa bed. If the room is shared by 2 guests, but the guests wish to sleep in the double bed AND the sofa bed, the price is 132 GBP: please choose 'SLEEPS 3' option. NO SHOES POLICY: In order for all our guests to have a comfortable stay in the Dunster Studio Apartment, we do not allow any shoes inside the apartment. You may bring your own slippers, if you like - or just wear socks. PARKING IN THE VILLAGE: Free village roadside parking and 2 pay and display car parks. CHECK-IN: 2pm - 5pm. If we do not have guests staying the previous night, you may check in anytime in the morning. Please enquire about this possibility the night before your arrival by phone (the confirmation email includes our contact phone numbers). CHECK OUT: 7am - 10am.

ABOUT THE HOSTS: Dunster Studio Apartment is owned by a British-Finnish carpenter - photographer couple Andrew and Nina. Both hosts enjoy windsurfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, biking and walking, and are happy to give visitors tips on where to go, and what to do while in Dunster and Exmoor.

ABOUT THE NEIGHBOURHOOD: Dunster Studio Apartment is located on Dunster's beautiful High Street, right next to the iconic Yarn Market and a 3 minute walk from the Dunster Castle entrance gates. There are several restaurants, tea rooms and independent shops within a 1-5 minute walk. Dunster is surrounded by Exmoor National Park which boasts over 1000 kilometres of paths ideal for walking, cycling and horse back riding - many of which start from Dunster village. 2.5 km from the village lies the Dunster beach where you can launch your kayak or paddle board and have a paddle to Minehead (remember to check the tides) - or follow the seaside path to Blue Anchor for an easy stroll and an afternoon tea. The woods around Dunster have several nice walks, including the wooded trail that takes you to Nutcombe Bottom where you find England's tallest trees. Dunster village is considered to be one of the best preserved medieval villages in the UK but there are plenty of other beautiful villages and areas to discover on Exmoor as well: Porlock Weir, Luccombe, Allerford, Selworthy, Bossington, Lynmouth, Valley of the Rocks, Dulverton, Withypool, Exford - just to name a few. We have included several travel guides in the apartment and are more than happy to help you make most of your stay in Dunster and Exmoor National Park.
